Not surprisingly, it is getting hard to find the Battle Hymn on YouTube.  Far too masculine.  Far too Christian.  I post this version for obvious reasons, despite its very low quality.  And, I think this might be one of the very last versions still available that leaves the final verse unaltered:

As one learns ever more, the hard truths about the beginnings of the United States of America and its historical context become more and more awkward.  In fact, SuperNerd and I will be recording a Podcast today in which we have a blunt discussion about reconciling the Freemasonic foundation of the U.S., and the Freemasonic monstrosity it has become, with the 4th Commandment’s call for love of country and homeland.

With that in mind, I decided to revisit Patrick Henry’s speech, which I recited and posted to YouTube what seems like a lifetime ago, now.  You have to admit, this is one HELL of a piece of rhetoric.  As I re-read the text, the relevance to the situation today with the Bergoglian Antipapcy and ascendancy of the Antichurch, the relentless attacks, and the completely impotent non-response response to all of it leaps from the text.  I post the text for those who prefer reading, and I post my video recitation, for those who might prefer the spoken version.

No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve. This is no time for ceremony. The question before the House is one of awful moment to this country. For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery; and in proportion to the magnitude of the subject ought to be the freedom of the debate. It is only in this way that we can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfill the great responsibility which we hold to God and our country. I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past. And judging by the past, I wish to know what there has been in the conduct of the British ministry for the last ten years to justify those hopes with which gentlemen have been pleased to solace themselves and the House. Is it that insidious smile with which our petition has been lately received? Trust it not, sir; it will prove a snare to your feet. Suffer not yourselves to be betrayed with a kiss. Ask yourselves how this gracious reception of our petition comports with those warlike preparations which cover our waters and darken our land. Are fleets and armies necessary to a work of love and reconciliation? Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled that force must be called in to win back our love? Let us not deceive ourselves, sir. These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which kings resort. I ask gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission? Can gentlemen assign any other possible motive for it? Has Great Britain any enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all this accumulation of navies and armies? No, sir, she has none. They are meant for us: they can be meant for no other. They are sent over to bind and rivet upon us those chains which the British ministry have been so long forging. And what have we to oppose to them? Shall we try argument? Sir, we have been trying that for the last ten years. Have we anything new to offer upon the subject? Nothing. We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it has been all in vain. Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication? What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted? Let us not, I beseech you, sir, deceive ourselves. Sir, we have done everything that could be done to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament. Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced additional violence and insult; our supplications have been disregarded; and we have been spurned, with contempt, from the foot of the throne! In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for hope. They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. The millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable–and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come.

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace– but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

Your post today, “Other Human Beings Matter”, got me thinking about how the trads who vehemently insist Francis is pope and say they don’t want Benedict “back” are like the crowds who not only chose to free Barabbas over Christ but are also like the crowds who hailed Jesus as king on Palm Sunday but yelled “Crucify Him!” and “If you are truly the Son of God  just come down from the cross!” They insist that Benedict has betrayed them but it is they who have betrayed the true vicar of Christ.

Twice per day, with Our Lord upon the altar, a priest whispers a commemoration of you – and the entire Church Triumphant joins in the prayer.  And Our Lord hears it, and receives it.  Don’t fear.  Don’t despair.  Don’t lose hope.

The very, very least I can do for you is pray for your growth in sanctity, and that you be as close to Our Lord in the Beatific Vision as possible.

It’s iconographically perfect in every way. The more you study it, the better it gets. Some art historian should write his doctoral thesis on this image. It’s far more legit than 99% of what passes for “art history” today.

Do you honestly think that Antipope Bergoglio and satan, his master, are just going to leave Eastern Rite Catholics alone and unmolested?

The declaration of war against Uniate Eastern Catholics was just made by Antipope Bergoglio in Romania, but no one seems to have picked up on it.

My position is that of Saint John Paul II. The Church breathes with two lungs. And the eastern lung can be Orthodox or Catholic. The status quo must be maintained. There is a whole culture and a pastoral life that must be preserved. But uniatism is no longer the way today. In fact, I’d say it’s not licit today. Today, however, the situation must be respected and the Greek Catholic bishops helped to work with the faithful.

Folks, “uniatism” means exactly what it sounds like: Eastern Catholics in full union with Rome and the Papacy. As in, NOT Eastern Orthodox, who are, by definition, in schism because they are explicitly NOT in union with Peter.

If you don’t believe me, here is a Ukie Catholic historian defining what “Uniate” means very clearly:

The term Uniate was coined at the end of the sixteenth century to indicate those Eastern Orthodox who entered into full and visible ecclesial communion with the Roman Pontiff and, in so doing, unfortunately fell out of communion with their Orthodox brothers and sisters. For this reason, the term Uniate took on a pejorative meaning akin to that of renegade or traitor, which led to it being abandoned in 1774, at which time the Austrian Empress Maria Theresa issued a decree prohibiting the use of the term Uniate, replacing it with Greek-Catholic, as most of her Uniate subjects were from the Greek or Byzantine tradition. Today, each Eastern Catholic Church has its own specific name, such as Ukrainian Catholic. Romanian Catholic, Melchite, Malabar etc.

So Antipope Bergoglio has thrown down the gauntlet in Romania, declared uniatism “not licit”, and therefore Uniate Catholics should either Latinize (and eventually follow Antipope Bergoglio into the apostate Antichurch), or go into schism and become Eastern Orthodox, lest they actually bring any schismatic Orthodox back into unity with Holy Mother Church and disrupt the status quo, which is schism, which must be maintained at all costs.

Proofset #925,799 that Bergoglio is an Antipope, and probably the False Prophet Forerunner of the Antichrist.

Ask not for whom the bells on the kadilnitsa jingle, Eastern Catholics. They jingle for thee.

Remember folks, as I covered in the Part 1 video, if Pope Benedict were to submit a valid resignation this afternoon, revert to his baptismal name, revert to the black cassock (assuming one could be found – they are extremely rare and hard to come by, especially in Rome), and retire to a monastery never to be seen again, this would CONFIRM that the February ARSH 2013 attempted resignation was invalid, that he had been the Pope all along, that the Cardinals had zero authority or capability of calling a conclave in 2013 (per Canon 359) because the See was never vacant, and that Bergoglio is and always has been an Antipope. No vacant See, no valid conclave. Period. No matter what the circumstances.

Error leads to brick walls, and hell.

Truth sets us free.

Pope Benedict XVI is in SUBSTANTIAL ERROR. That means in the simplest possible language, “He’s wrong.” Mistaken. Deluded. Misguided. Did a boo-boo.

We know this is a possibility because Canon Law specifically provides for the contingency, and addresses it.

This is why Pope Benedict need not be ASKED anything. He needs to be TOLD that his resignation was canonically invalid, and that he is the one and only living Pope. His ERROR has no rights. His ERROR has no weight or legal standing.

What are my, or anyone’s credentials to dare claim that the Holy Father is in error? Canon Law, Objective Reality, and Truth. These are their own credentials in se. These are their own Authority. Canon Law, Objective Reality and Truth judge Pope Benedict. Not us. We just report the verdict. We just ride the coattails of Canon Law, Objective Reality and Truth.

Substantial ERROR. And yet, by the mercy and charity of the Divine Providence, completely VISIBLE.

I want to send you a note of thanks for everything you do but in particular, for your advice to get off social media. I got off Facebook long before you sounded that alarm: Facebook does nothing but breed narcissism, anger and stupidity. I never had a Twitter account, nor Myspace, nor Snapchat… The one I did hold on to was Instagram but I cut the cord last night. At first, Instagram seemed to be a harmless, visual site where I could see paintings and travel photos (I am a part-time painter when time permits). Over the course of not even a year though, the “ads” targeting me were increasingly aggressive and counter to the values I have. Likewise, those that “followed me” and I “followed” began to post narcissistic photos with captions which is basically why I left Facebook. The final straw though was this article that Canon212 posted yesterday  showing Zuckerberg on video bragging about how he blocked pro-life content in Ireland prior to the evil Irish election last year that legalized all forms of abortion. There is no way I am going to support in any way, anything tied to that wicked man (turns out he is an owner or part owner in Instagram). 

I have a lot fewer real friends than I used to and I am convinced the reason why is because of social media. So many people that I used to meet up with for dinner, drinks, whatnot – who live in the same town as I do – only communicate via text and social media. And these are people now in their 40s and 50s, not brain-dead millennials. No one seems to pick up the phone and call anymore and when I do run into someone on the street, I more and more hear “I’ll Instagram you” or “I’ll text you.” No. I’m not going to become a slave to that lifestyle. And (voluntary) slavery is exactly what social media quickly leads to. I am ashamed now to admit that the first thing I was doing every morning was looking at Instagram. No more.
