Barnhardt Podcast #023: It Ain’t Just Houston That Has A Problem

[Direct link to the MP3 file]

In this episode we discuss the manifest mendacity of the web hosting provider Site5 and their inability to give a specific explanation for last Friday’s suspension and termination of the web hosting account on which barnhardt.biz was being hosted — and whether this betokens the need for people expressing the authentic Catholic Faith need to look to places like Russia for hosting their websites. We also discussed the multiple calamities which have befallen the city of Houston (hurricane, culture, mayor) and address the urgent need to evangelize black Americans and bring them to the Barque of Peter.

Feedback: please send your questions, comments, or suggestions for offshore web hosting to [email protected]

Cajun Navy, Ambushed and Under Fire, Told to Withdraw. “Let the Dead Bury Their Dead.”

The people who are ambushing and attacking rescuers in Houston are the people I have been warning about for years – people who would rape and murder without hesitation, from the youngest child to the most elderly of elders. These people make the genociding torturers of the French Revolution look like boy scouts by comparison.

What did this? How were these monsters created? By the rap/hip-hop culture. The welfare state, beginning especially with LBJ’s “Great Society”, certainly began the breakdown of the black family, but the actual transformation of human beings into demoniacs totally and completely self-purged of all charity came through the music, culture, anti-aesthetic and lifestyle of the rap/hip-hop milieu.

The rap/hip-hop culture MUST be exterminated.  Many aspects of it can and should be criminalized by re-introducing anti-obscenity laws. In a nation that acknowledges and lives under the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ, this would be a no-brainer.  It would go without saying. This is what we await when we talk about the “Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary”. This is what we pray we live to see – the total extermination of such evils.  A world without rap/hip-hop culture.  A world without sodomy. A world without islam. A world without Marxism. A world without Freemasonry.

There is no way that the black race in the post-Christian west can survive the intrinsic auto-genocidal quality of the rap/hip-hop culture.

All people of good will admire and salute the Cajun Navy (many, many of whom are black) and their example of manful virility born of true charity.  But get out of there.  Go home, see to your own families and neighbors, and let the dead bury their dead.”  And we look forward and pray for the day that black people are given their dignity and true freedom back, are liberated from the satanic grip of the rap/hip-hop culture, and many, many black children are conceived and born to their parents, united in sacramental marriage, and raised as co-heirs to the Kingdom of God.

Starting Tuesday Off Right: He Issued A Correction Edition

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

The Beheading of St. John the Baptist (detail), Caravaggio, ARSH 1608, Co-Cathedral of St. John, Valletta, Malta

Today is the Feast of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist.  It is apt, I think, that this Feast falls on a full-fast day for those of us who are participating in the Matthew 17:20 initiative.  There has been a tradition of full-fasting on this day in grief for the death of a man that Our Lord and Savior said, “There is not a greater prophet.”

A moving reading on St. John the Baptist:

…This divine Prophet, after he had preached the baptism of repentance according to God’s command; had taught men of low rank and high how they must order their lives; had admonished those whom he baptized and had filled them with the fear of God, teaching them that no one is able to escape the wrath to come if he do not works worthy of repentance; had, through such preaching, prepared their hearts to receive the evangelical teachings of the Savior; and finally, after he had pointed out to the people the very Savior, and said, “Behold the Lamb of God, Which taketh away the sin of the world” (Luke 3:2-18; John 1: 29-36), after all this, John sealed with his own blood the truth of his words and was made a sacred victim for the divine Law at the hands of a transgressor.

This was Herod Antipas, the Tetrarch of Galilee, the son of Herod the Great. This man had a lawful wife, the daughter of Arethas (or Aretas), the King of Arabia (that is, Arabia Petraea, which had the famous Nabatean stone city of Petra as its capital. This is the Aretas mentioned by Saint Paul in II Cor. 11:32). Without any cause, and against every commandment of the Law, he put her away and took to himself Herodias, the wife of his deceased brother Philip, to whom Herodias had borne a daughter, Salome. He would not desist from this unlawful union even when John, the preacher of repentance, the bold and austere accuser of the lawless, censured him and told him, “It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’s wife” (Mark 6: 18). Thus Herod, besides his other unholy acts, added yet this, that he apprehended John and shut him in prison; and perhaps he would have killed him straightway, had he not feared the people, who had extreme reverence for John. Certainly, in the beginning, he himself had great reverence for this just and holy man. But finally, being pierced with the sting of a mad lust for the woman Herodias, he laid his defiled hands on the teacher of purity on the very day he was celebrating his birthday. When Salome, Herodias’ daughter, had danced in order to please him and those who were supping with him, he promised her — with an oath more foolish than any foolishness — that he would give her anything she asked, even unto the half of his kingdom. And she, consulting with her mother, straightway asked for the head of John the Baptist in a charger. Hence this transgressor of the Law, preferring his lawless oath above the precepts of the Law, fulfilled this godless promise and filled his loathsome banquet with the blood of the Prophet. So it was that that all-venerable head, revered by the Angels, was given as a prize for an abominable dance, and became the plaything of the dissolute daughter of a debauched mother.

This dovetails with a quote from St. Augustine, whose feast was yesterday:

“What is reprehensible, however, is that, while leading good lives themselves and abhorring those of wicked men, some, fearing to offend, shut their eyes to evil deeds instead of condemning them and pointing out their malice. To be sure, the motive behind their tolerance is that they may suffer no hurt in the possession of those temporal goods which virtuous and blameless men may lawfully enjoy; still, there is more self-seeking here than becomes men who are true sojourners in this world and who profess the hope of a home in heaven.”
-St. Augustine of Hippo, City of God, Book 1

I will say what others will not: the quote above from St. Augustine applies DIRECTLY to Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke.

St. John the Baptist, pray for us.

Christ, have mercy on us.

What do facts matter to Site5? Does EIG know what they are doing?

First they said it was Section 21 that was a problem. Now it’s section 9. I think they are making this up as they go. Still no actual details or proof that anyone actually made a complaint to Site5 about this website.

Clearly, we recommend anyone on Site5 look for a new hosting provider… but be careful: the parent company of Site5, Endurance International Group (EIG), owns a LOT of other web hosting companies. The Wikipedia page for EIG has a partial list of 84 brands that EIG owns: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endurance_International_Group.

I would avoid them all.

Bogus “Copyright Infringement” and Fraudulent Pok-ee-ston-ee “Support”

Here is the text of SuperNerd’s livechat exchange with Site5’s “customer support”.  I have changed SuperNerd’s name. Can’t make this crap up…

Chat ID: 45910890 Initial Question: I just got an email saying that a third party complaint was filed against barnhardt.biz but NO specifics were given nor any discovery on the part of Site5 to determine if the complaint was legitimate, a misunderstanding, or something I had no idea was an issue but would be willing to remediate.
3:23:46 PMSystem Ashish S has joined the chat!
3:24:28 PMAshish S Hello SuperNerd. Welcome to live chat, My name is Ashish. I will be assisting you today.
3:24:31 PMAshish S I extremely apologize for the wait time.
3:24:52 PMAshish S Could you please elaborate your query?
3:24:59 PMAshish S Could you please provide the email
3:25:05 PMSuperNerd What is it you don’t understand?
3:25:24 PMSuperNerd “Upon review of a third party complaint and your account activity, we have deemed your account to be in violation of our Terms of Service. Specifically, Section 21 of the Terms of service We have determined that we are not the most appropriate host for your business needs, and require you to seek hosting services elsewhere (outside of Site5 and all our sister companies) to service the website moving forward. Pursuant to our Terms of Service we have permanently suspended your account. You will have until Monday August 28th, 2017 to retrieve your files, at this point in time your account will be terminated.”
3:25:46 PMSuperNerd What does “Abuse Type: AUP” mean anyway?
3:25:55 PMAshish S Let me check that for you. Could you please provide me with the support code visible under “Support Options” on the left-hand side of the page so that we can verify your account. To get the support code, please go to your Customer Area at https://customers.site5.com/clientarea.php with your login details.
3:26:35 PMSuperNerd 90109-xxxxx
3:28:58 PMAshish S Thank you for your authentication. Please be on hold for 3-5 minutes while I check this for you.
3:38:04 PMAshish S Thanks for being on hold, SuperNerd. Since you have violated our terms of service, you are requested to move your files to another hosting provider before August 28th. After that, it will be suspended.
3:38:37 PMSuperNerd In what way were the terms of service violated, and does this mean only barnhardt.biz has to move or all domains on the parent account?
3:39:29 PMAshish S Please refer this – https://www.site5.com/legal/terms-of-service/
3:39:45 PMSuperNerd I did — that didn’t answer the question one bit.
3:39:48 PMAshish S Section 21: You represent and warrant to Site5 that you: (i) will use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including without limitation, with respect to your websites and any User Content; and (ii) you are solely responsible for all activities conducted on or through any website on your account, including any transactions or interactions with end users of your website.
3:40:12 PMSuperNerd As far as I can tell, Site5 is in breach of contract because nothing about any website on my account violates that section.
3:40:36 PMAshish S Yes you need to remove only one domain account that is barnhardt.biz
3:40:59 PMAshish S Also, you are requested to reply to the ticket regarding this.
3:41:02 PMSuperNerd If I violated any term of service, you should, at a minimum, tell me how precisely it was violated.
3:42:34 PMAshish S You will be given a detailed explanation by our security team once you post the reply on ticket – WLF-474-68017
3:42:55 PMSuperNerd I want a positive statement that my account with Site5 is not in jeopardy of being closed down. The domain referenced in the complaint has already been removed from Site5 — did you not look to verify that?
3:43:29 PMAshish S You have been violated our TOS regarding Copyright Infringement, unfortunately.
3:43:38 PMSuperNerd Where do I find information about that ticket?
3:43:56 PMSuperNerd Copyright infringement? All of the content on that site is custom generated!
3:44:10 PMSuperNerd What SPECIFICALLY is alleged to be a violation?
3:44:15 PMAshish S You can get the ticket in client area > support tickets
3:44:53 PMAshish S Regarding the violation, our TOS team will update you. Please post your reply in the ticket.
3:47:14 PMSuperNerd So you either cannot or refuse to tell me what the violation is?
3:47:24 PMSuperNerd How does this qualify as “support?”
3:48:46 PMAshish S Unfortunately, we have just received the notice of Copyright Infringement. To know more about this, a ticket was created. So I would request you to post your reply in the ticket so that our TOS team would reply regarding this with all the details.
3:49:43 PMSuperNerd Is it the practice of Site5 to suspend an account just because a complaint — even if there is absolutely no merit to it — is received, and without giving the account holder a chance to answer any allegations or make corrections?
3:53:50 PMAshish S I apologize, but for such serious issues, the ticket is placed on our higher end and its needs to go through our higher authorities. So once you respond to the ticket, you will be notified regarding this in depth.
3:54:39 PMSuperNerd So what you’re saying is that you cannot or will not help me and it took the better part of an hour to get that answer?
3:56:49 PMAshish S Unfortunately, we are authorized to look at the better part. If we could, we would have provided all the details. So I would request you to respond the ticket and our SIte5 TOS team will help you with this.
3:57:00 PMSuperNerd Can you tell the “higher ups” who can answer this to please actually answer? I have replied to the ticket. I replied by email HOURS ago but nobody is replying.
3:58:01 PMAshish S We hadn’t got the reply earlier. Now we see the reply. Our TOS team will look into this and reply you back. Your patience and cooperation are highly appreciated in this regard.
3:58:12 PMSuperNerd I really think Site5 wants me to do business with someone else. I also think this lack of customer service constitutes a gross breach of contract and Site5 should be refunding me the full balance of what I paid for hosting once I’ve moved all of my site to a competitor.
3:59:08 PMSuperNerd Since there is nothing you can do for me (or you’re refusing to do for me) I don’t see the point chatting any more. Have a good day. Or night. In which country are you located?
That’s right, folks.  Bogus charges ginned up (copyright infringement – on a website of self-generated content, youbetcha), no notification, no explanation, complete suspension without recourse, and then fraudulent Pok-ee-stonny”tech support” following a script.  So, in review:
Secret “charges”.
No trial.
Summary execution.
Guilty “verdict” after the execution has been carried out refusing explanation of the so-called “crime” committed.

This has an oddly familiar ring to it…  “You’re guilty”.
“Guilty of what?”
“Don’t worry about it.  You’re just guilty.”
“Well, how can I possibly reform my nefarious ways if you won’t tell me what I have done wrong?”
“Read the entire legal code over and over again until you understand that YOU. ARE. GUILTY.”
This is TEXTBOOK Marxist kangaroo “law”.  And you folks need to get your heads around the fact that THIS is how things will be operating.  You MUST force yourselves to understand and fully comprehend that the Rule of Law, objective reality, evidence, rationality, justice and fundamental human decency are OUT THE WINDOW with these people.  The old axiom, “Since I have done nothing wrong I have nothing to fear” is a LAUGH LINE TO A BAD JOKE.
I don’t throw the term “post-Christian” around because I think it sounds smart.  This is a post-Christian culture.  Expecting honest dealings, integrity or even shame from these people is simply irrational.  Their chosen culture is diametrically opposed to these virtues on a level so deep and so defining that we would call it “religious” with a lower-case “r”.
And, it certainly bears mentioning that these people use musloids in Pok-ee-ston and other musloid outposts precisely because mendacity is a core foundational plank in musloid society.  “Ashish S.” knows that he is a fraudulent actor in this, and that his job is to merely deflect the victims of his employers and provide zero support, and he is completely and totally fine with that.  Heck, last week “Ashish S.” was probably doing scam IRS collection calls to senior citizens.  Marxists and musloids flock together for a reason.
I’m glad this happened, because I am always glad to be able to be at the spearpoint of these things so people can see how these things work and play out, and thus you guys can now start taking aggressive, proactive steps to protect yourselves.  It’s a kind of reconnaissance work, really, and I have no problem doing it.

Totalitarian Censorship Attempt Thwarted For Now….

It’s war, folks.  All it takes is a “third party complaint”, if that, and these wretches will shut you down.  There is no reason given, no recourse, nothing.  That is what just happened to me over the past few hours with Site5 hosting.  Anyone using Site5 should drop them immediately.  They are Austin commies.  Here’s the text of the email that came:

Upon review of a third party complaint and your account activity, we have deemed your account to be in violation of our Terms of Service. You will have until Monday August 28th, 2017 to retrieve your files, at this point in time your account will be terminated.

Michael W.
Site5 Compliance Team

And, of course, Section 21 has absolutely nothing in it germane to this website.  Zippo.  But, that doesn’t matter.  Remember, there is no Rule of Law.  All that matters is power.  Evidence, truth, rationality – none of it matters when dealing with these people.  There is no “reasoning with”, “dialoguing” or anything else.  Get this through your head, and things like this, when they happen to you, will be much easier to deal with.

This is how it is going to be for all of us from here on out.  This is why at the very end of today’s podcast I talked about how desperately we need someone in either Poland or Hungary to set up an offshore hosting company for the former U.S., and for fallen Old Europe.  Someone who could guarantee Christians that they will not be censored, and that their webhost isn’t dealing in porn or worse.  It seems to me that this would be a billion-dollar entity overnight.  The market is just slightly hugantic.

Three cheers for SuperNerd, who lived up to his moniker today!  I think he just executed the world’s fastest site migration.  Hooyah!

Thanks to one and all for the concerned inquiries.  And don’t be surprised if this happens again.  Many, many evil eyes watch this site compulsively – and evil never rests.

Barnhardt Podcast #022: Tinker, Tailor, Gunsmith, Nerd: Let’s Talk Trades!

[Direct link to the MP3 file]

In this episode, after dispensing with the notion that everyone should go to college, we discuss and recommend some trades that one might consider in lieu of taking on a sentence of 20 years to life of paying back student loans. Traditional trades are high on the list — and virtually impossible to outsource overseas — but nerdy skills are a viable option as well. We also talk about some fields where higher education (going to college) are pretty much a requirement but are solid fields to consider.

Feedback: send your questions, comments, or trades we didn’t mention but you think are a great idea to consider to [email protected]

This Song Just Gets Better and Better….

Volume to eleven, now.

From the bright sunny South to the war, I was sent,
E’er the days of my boyhood, I scarcely had spent.
From its cool shady forests and deep flowing streams,
Ever fond in my mem’ry and sweet in my dreams.

Oh, my dear little sister, I still see her tears.
When I had to leave home in our tender years.
And my sweet gentle mother, so dear to my heart,
It grieved me sincerely when we had to part.

Said my kind-hearted father as he took my hand:
“As you go in defense of our dear native land,
“Son, be brave but show mercy whenever you can.
“Our hearts will be with you, ’til you return again.”

In my bag there’s a Bible to show me the way,
Through my trials here on earth and to Heaven some day.
I will shoulder my musket and brandish my sword,
In defense of this land and the Word of the Lord.
