On the Feast of the Martrydom of Sts. Peter and Paul, Answering the Question, “Why Is God Letting This Antipapacy Happen?”

I am inundated (still) with emails from people who just a few short years ago would have described their faith as strong, solid and even unshakable – people for whom the thought of ever, ever losing their faith or questioning or doubting in even the slightest way the Church, and even Our Lord Himself, specifically His love for us, was all but impossible. We’re talking daily Tridentine Mass-goers. Daily Rosary prayers. Scandalized unto loss of faith all because of the Bergoglian Antipapacy.

First, realizing that Jorge Cardinal Bergoglio, S.J., is, in fact, an Antipope, and is not now nor never was the Vicar of Christ, is a tremendous consolation in and of itself. Thank God for Canon 188. Thank God for Pope Benedict’s own words on 27 February, ARSH 2013. Thank God for Archbishop Georg Ganswein spilling the beans on Pope Benedict’s substantial error with regards to the papacy at the Gregorian University in Rome in May of ARSH 2016. As was pointed out to me by an entrenched Vatican employee shortly after Gasnwein’s speech, Ganswein, from a purely professional perspective, should have been fired immediately for the sheer obliviousness and stupidity of running his mouth as he did. Knowing what we now know, namely that Pope Benedict read and approved Ganswein’s speech, my response is, what one person calls “obliviousness and stupidity”, I call “Divine Providence.”

But still the fact of the scandal of Antipope Bergoglio remains. Souls are being scandalized unto eternal damnation by this most wicked and malignant of antipopes, many of whom are the immediate family members – children and spouses – of the remnant faithful. Yes, yes, we can see that technically, legally, Antipope Bergoglio does not besmirch the papacy – never having been the Pope, and yet the damage his is doing is so profound that it will, in all likelihood, drive the Remnant Church into the catacombs. Why is Our Lord permitting this? Why doesn’t He rise up?

The answer lies in His Love and His Mercy.

Everyone agrees that the Bergoglian Antipapcy is a scourge, a castigation.  I myself have been posting this famous quotation from St. John Eudes for YEARS, although in truncated form. Here is the full quote:

‘THE MOST EVIDENT MARK of God’s anger and the most terrible castigation He can inflict upon the world are manifested when He permits His people to fall into the hands of clerics’ who are priests more in name than in deed, priests who practice the cruelty of ravening wolves rather than the charity and affection of devoted shepherds.

Instead of nourishing those committed to their care, they rend and devour them brutally. Instead of leading their people to God, they drag Christian souls into hell in their train. Instead of being the salt of the earth and the light of the world, they are its innocuous poison and its murky darkness.

St. Gregory the Great says that priests and pastors will stand condemned before God as the murderers of any souls lost through neglect or silence. Tot occidimus, quot ad mortem ire tepidi et tacentes videmus. Elsewhere St. Gregory asserts that nothing more angers God than to see those whom He set aside for the correction of others, give bad example by a wicked and depraved life.’

Instead of preventing offenses against His Majesty, such priests become themselves the first to persecute Him, they lose their zeal for the salvation of souls and think only of following their own inclinations. Their affections go no farther than earthly things, they eagerly bask in the empty praises of men, using their sacred ministry to serve their ambitions, they abandon the things of God to devote themselves to the things of the world, and in their saintly calling of holiness, they spend their time in profane and worldly pursuits.

When God permits such things, it is a very positive proof that He is thoroughly angry with His people, and is visiting His most dreadful anger upon them. That is why He cries unceasingly to Christians, “Return, 0 ye revolting children . . . and I will give you pastors according to my own heart” (Jer. 3, 14-15). Thus, irregularities in the lives of priests constitute a scourge visited upon the people in consequence of sin.’

-St. John Eudes, ‘The Priest: His Dignity and Obligations’

So if we all agree with St. John Eudes that Antipope Bergoglio is a scourge on us, that is, God’s PEOPLE, the first question we must ask ourselves is WHAT EXACTLY it is that we have done to deserve this? Then, once we have determined that, we must – MUST – stop doing that, and, presumably do the opposite.

What I would submit is the great crime against God committed by His People over the past 50 years is our SILENCE – our passive, impotent, effeminate acceptance of the profound violence done against Him, His Church, and His Liturgy. We, our parents, our grandparents, our great-grandparents, sat in silence and watched as sodomites turned the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass into a neo-pagan low-rent cruise ship floorshow. Our response was either the silence of apostasy, as more than 90% of Catholics in the West simply stopped going to Mass, or the silence of tacitly accepting the obvious abuse and overt hostility toward Our Lord and His Church by diabolically narcissistic sex perverts and their truly pathetic, co-dependent hangers-on. The collapse of our culture, the abortion, the ascendancy of sexual perversion, the collapse of the Rule of Law – all of these things are DERIVATIVE of the destruction of the Liturgy, a destruction that we sat, wallowing in our collective effeminacy, and watched – and continue to watch and even cooperate in.  How many people today, well aware of the perennial traditions and disciplines of Holy Mother Church prior to ARSH 1965, still go to Novus Ordo Masses having observed only a one hour fast, women with heads uncovered, and receive the Most Holy Eucharist standing, in the hand because they “don’t want to stand out” or “make a scene”?  Lots.  Lots and lots and lots.

So my question, in rebuttal to the commentariat’s responses to my “Vocem Alienorum” piece is this: If we all agree that it has been precisely our inaction over the past 50 years that has brought down this scourge upon us, how can it possibly, possibly make sense that the proper response to the Bergoglian Antipapacy is MORE SILENCE? MORE RETREAT? MORE SHOULDER-SHRUGGING? MORE FATALISM? MORE EFFEMINACY? MORE SLOTH? MORE INDIFFERENCE?

And that brings us, somewhat paradoxically, to Our Lord’s incomprehensible Love for us, and His Mercy.

The reason Our Lord is letting the Bergoglian Antipapacy happen, is because He is giving us ONE. LAST. CHANCE to cease the very crime we have committed against Him for lo these 50 years, one last chance to come to His defense. One last chance to shake off our effeminacy and instead rise up in virility and fight for Him.

As I have been desperately trying to convey for years, a “personal relationship with Jesus Christ” is utterly, utterly essential. Our Lord is a PERSON. He loves us PERSONALLY. He is not a philosophy, a political ideology, a legal matrix or an abstraction of any kind. He is a PERSON who not only who loves us, but perhaps even more incomprehensibly, wants to be LOVED BY US. As we have learned in our ongoing study of Diabolical Narcissism, DN humans, and their demonic analogues in the angelic plane, are those who refuse to either love, or BE LOVED. God, obviously being the “infinite opposite” of diabolical, loves and desires to be loved.

Why does God come to us in the Eucharist? Why does He condescend to change a humble piece of bread into His physical substance? Why does He allow Himself to be called down onto the altar by a man – a priest? And why does Our Lord obey these priests – sinners all?  Why does He allow Himself – His physical substance – to be reposed inside of all of those tabernacles? Why does He expose Himself to possible (and ever-more likely) desecration all day every day all over the world?

He makes Himself so incredibly vulnerable so that WE CAN TAKE CARE OF HIM. He leaves Himself wide open and exposed so that we can be good and loving TO HIM. He who provides and gives us everything, even gives us the gift of the ability to give back to Him. He who guards, defends and protects us, gives us the ability to guard, defend and protect Him. He who has given us the beauty of the stars and galaxies, the mountains, the sea, the plants and animals, has given us the ability to give Him the beauty of our architecture, our works of art, and our music. And most especially, He who stepped into the breach and fought and conquered sin and death for us, the perfect act of chivalry, borne of perfect virility, borne of perfect, infinite love, gives us the chance to DEFEND HIM, to confront and combat His enemies. He intentionally remains passive – for a time – precisely so that we may rush to HIS AID. Why? Because He knows that in doing this – doing the right thing – we will be truly happy.

This is what we have failed to do, and what we are being given one last chance to do now, in these dark days. Just as he gave Peter the three-fold chance to unwind his three-fold denial, which Peter did from the shore of the Sea of Tiberias with the hedged words, “Filio-se”, that is, “I love you, Lord, with a human, brotherly love”, all the way to his cross on the Vatican Hill when he was able finally, and only then, crucified upside down, say to Jesus over and over again the words “Agapo-se”, “I love you, Lord, with a total sacrificial love”, on his lips, so now we are being given the chance to FULLY unwind our silent betrayal.

Turning our backs on Jesus and retiring to our diversions and navel-gazing distractions – and that is what they are, distractions from the pangs of our consciences as we fail, YET AGAIN, to stand and defend our Beloved Savior, and the souls that Our Beloved God loves – will never, ever provide genuine happiness. It can only ever provide a prolongation of earthly, sensual comfort. Turning our backs on Our Lord, telling ourselves the lie that objective reality, truth itself, is unknowable, and even if known, far too risky or costly to speak in anything but the most hushed tones amongst the right company, as He is attacked by an axis of sodomites, Freemasons, Marxists, Modernists and satanists, with a dimwitted arch-heresiarch squatter paraded before them as their diabolical mascot, is more of the same malfeasance that brought this scourge down upon us in the first place.

I had occasion to have a truly disheartening conversation with a priest about a situation involving the display and selling of pornographic materials, in a location where children pass every day. He used the metaphor of the Titanic to make his point, namely that the ship is going down, and that it is futile, and even smacks of pride, to think that I or anyone else can do anything to correct the situation – that any efforts we make to resist the onslaught of evil is “rearranging deck chairs while the band plays on.”

I have been a bit of a Titanic buff since 1986 when the wreck was discovered, and what immediately sprang to my mind was the following, which answers the question, “What should we do in the face of inevitable catastrophe?”

On board the Titanic were numerous uber-wealthy passengers and titans of industry. One was the billionaire Benjamin Guggenheim, who was on board with his mistress. Guggenheim, upon learning that the ship was going down, took his mistress and her maid up to the deck and put them in a lifeboat. He then went back to his cabin whereupon he and his valet put on their finest eveningwear, went back to the foyer of the Grand Staircase, reposed themselves in deck chairs, and sat, sipping brandy and smoking cigars, until they died.

Also on board for the maiden voyage was J. Bruce Ismay, the owner of the White Star Line, essentially the owner of the Titanic. Upon consulting with Thomas Andrews, the naval architect who designed the Titanic and oversaw its construction at the Harland & Wolff shipyards in Belfast who was also onboard for the maiden voyage, and knowing that the ship was doomed, Ismay immediately went up to the lifeboat decks and began urgently pleading with incredulous passengers to get into the lifeboats. Many passengers refused, refusing to believe that the Titanic was going to sink. Ismay used his authority and credibility as the owner of the White Star Line to convince people to board lifeboats. He stayed on deck until the very end, and in the final moments of the great barque, saw and was encouraged to jump into a collapsible lifeboat. Ismay survived, and despite his heroic efforts on deck, was destroyed in the press for not going down with the ship – largely by his enemy, newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst. But Guggenheim, after seeing only to his mistress and her maid, retired to two hours of self-absorbed and self-satisfied sensual decadence and naval-gazing as he waited to die, apparently indifferent to the other 2200 souls aboard, and was hailed as a hero.

The analogy here is clear. Yes, the Titanic is going down. Barring a supernatural intervention – which is still possible – the Barque of Peter as we have known it will be replaced in the eyes of the world with the Antichurch. With the Titanic it was a matter of infiltration of water. With the Church, it is a matter of the infiltration of Freemasons, Marxists, Modernists, Sodomites and satanists. It will no longer be the majestic “Titanic”, and will be reduced to only the lifeboats. But lifeboats are barques too – just smaller, and less comfortable.

We MUST warn others. We MUST tell them the truth of the situation so that they understand the enormity of what is happening, and so that they will get into the lifeboats and be saved. We MUST tell them that to follow Antipope Bergoglio is to reject Christ and embrace the spirit of Antichrist. And we must keep doing this until the very end. The good news is that on the Barque of Peter, as with the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes, there is an infinite supply of lifeboats. Launch one, and another appears. So long as there are souls waiting to board a lifeboat, GOD WILL PROVIDE. But we are players in this. If we take the Guggenheim route, the route of fatalism, effiminacy and INDIFFERENCE, souls will be lost that could have been saved, and, in all likelihood, we will be lost ourselves, because failure in charity – indifference – so often manifests as a sin of omission.

Finally, and with great sadness, it must be said that the statement “We have the Pope that we deserve,” is indeed true. We have a Pope who has been saturated in bad theology and bad philosophy. We have a Pope who is intimately tied to the failed Vatican II Council. We have a Pope who is weak, has a long history of quitting when confronted with opposition, and who, like the hirelings, has abandoned the sheep and fled from the wolves. Yes, we most assuredly have the Pope we deserve: Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Benedict XVI, the worst Pope ever – by a long shot – for what he has done.

Join me in the Matthew 17:20 Initiative, in which we full-fast twice per week and pray daily that Antipope Bergoglio be publicly acknowledged and removed as Antipope, and that the entire Bergoglian Antipapacy be nullified; that Pope Benedict XVI be acknowledged as the uninterrupted one and only living Pope since his election in April of ARSH 2005; that Antipope Bergoglio repent, revert to Catholicism, die in a state of grace and someday achieve the Beatific Vision; and that Pope Benedict XVI repent, die in a state of grace, and someday achieve the Beatific Vision.

I hope this helps.

Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.

“Where are you going, Lord?” — “To Rome, to be crucified again.”  And so, all those that truly love Him will go with Him, and say with Peter to their last breath, “Agapo-se, Kyrie!”

Mailbag #1 – Of Big Macs and Filet Mignon

Ann,

You wondered what value people actually derive from your podcasts and blogs. Here is an incomplete list of the benefits I have experienced and I have derived since I started following your blog in 2014.

-Greatly improved prayer life.
-Better confessions.
-Spiritual support through some spiritual dry spells.
-More spiritually docile
-Helping to offer my suffering from cancer and its treatment to God as reparation for the poor souls in Purgatory.
-Helping me to be be at peace facing the fact that cancer will take my life in 5 – 8 years and turning it to God.
-Helping me understand a relative, who is an Alpha Diabolical Narcissist.
-Most of all, helping me to better conform myself to God and His authentic teaching such that my soul will not be lost to Hell.
If it were not for you, I am not certain I would enter the Beatific Vision (after a rather lengthy stay in Purgatory.

There is no amount of money worth this. (I can afford it. I am an IT nerd.)

You should see a one-time donation on your Continue to Give account from me.

In Christ and in your debt,

-Mr. P

(No, I am not some worshipful fanboy, just an awkward computer nerd.)

ARGH! Larger denomination donations make me worry.  I’m trying to build a broader base of low-denomination donor/subscribers with the Stale Big Mac Maneuver, which is a sounder paradigm in multiple ways, including smoothing out cash flows, and defense against temptations to pride and arrogance, and worrying about appeasing or not offending “big donors” (a HUGE problem in the Catholic Blogosphere/Media).  The laborer is worthy of his hire – NOT of exorbitance.  I can deliver Stale Big Mac quality.  I can’t deliver filet mignon topped with a medallion of foie gras (if you ever see that on a menu in a fancy-pants steakhouse, don’t ask questions – just order it).  Besides, whatever good comes out of this, it all comes from the Holy Ghost, very much in spite of me, my sloth, my intemperate wrath, and my use of the word “bee-ess”.

Ann,

Most would consider the higher denomination donations to be a victory. The concern you express in getting them is a clear indicator of your spiritual state (true humility). Allow your generous donors to gain the graces inherent in acts of alms giving, even if it is you who is the humble recipient. Accept them in the spirit which they are certainly meant, one of gratitude and genuine corporal concern for you and your well being.

I continue to pray that your ears and hearing recover.

May God continue to bless and protect you.

– Mr. P

Well, now you’ve done it.  In declaring me truly humble, you have taken me all the way back to square one.  I am reminded of the boardgame from my childhood, “Chutes and Ladders”. Square 87 takes you right back down to square 24.  Argh!

The ears are still a little leaky, and the Eustachian Tubes still have fluid in them which sloshes, but they are popping like crazy, and the tympanic membranes are both healing.  I can no longer hear my own pulse when going to sleep.  I would estimate three more weeks to complete recovery.

Mailbag #2 – A Letter from a Submariner

Ann and SuperNerd,

I am a 25 year veteran of the Navy, serving aboard five ballistic missile boats. I retired in 20XX from the USS XYZ, which at that time was in Norfolk Navy Shipyard undergoing refueling and SSGN conversion.

Although I did not serve with women aboard the boats I was on, I did during shore duty and my first tour early in my Navy days aboard the USS ABC in Holy Loch, Scotland.

The only thing that made being locked in a steel tube for 75+ days tolerable was crew camaraderie. After three or four days underway, your ability to sense time is gone, and three weeks feels like three months. This is due to a variety of factors, but mainly is the break of circadian rhythm due to the 6 on 12 off schedule, and of course no sunlight. The lack of ability to sense the passage of time I think is a tiny foretaste of hell, which of course goes on forever. I do not miss this aspect of the ballistic deterrent patrol.

The Trident submarine is not the crowded environment of the older boats. It is 560 feet long with four levels, wider passageways and overall a lot more space. I served aboard two Lafayette class boats before seeing my first T-hull, and I was astonished at how big it seemed by comparison. And it is aboard the Tridents that the first women were assigned. However, it is still not a surface ship with separate berthing areas containing heads. The showers on a Trident, whether officer, CPO or crew would need to be time shared. The officers have a head that contains two showers, dittos the Chief’s quarters, and the crew has two heads in the missile compartment, fore and aft. The only real privacy a woman could have would be in officer staterooms, which have two bunks each. There would be no privacy in the Chief’s berthing, and in crew’s berthing only if an entire nine “person” bunkroom were assigned to women.

I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for the crews that have women aboard. Adding sexual tension to that environment would make patrols intolerable. I am sure quite a few good guys have opted not to reenlist because of this. As to your comments about dumbing down the qual process – I agree. I can see this happening, with a CO not wanting to run afoul of the commissars of PC by failing to qualify a female OOD, EOOW, etc and submarine warfare.

The quality of our military has been in slow decline since Clinton, and I am sure it accelerated under Obama. Things haven’t changed much at all with the current administration, as they did not get rid of permitting “gays” serving openly, or trannies. I used to encourage young people to consider the military, but not any more.

Signed,
A

Mittens Romney Grasping at Power Again – TIME TO REPOST THIS BLAST FROM THE PAST, “Romney Go Home”

Mongolians!

I brought up in the last Barnhardt Podcast the whole question of the ethnic origin and influence of East Asians (Mongols) in the musloid world, and how the influx of Mongol blood and their warring culture influenced and vivified the spread of the islamic political system.  SuperNerd immediately cited the defeat of the musloids by the Mongols in the 13th century – and many listeners have chimed in.

This is NOT the event I was remembering.  What I was remembering was the origins of what are called the “Turkic peoples” several centuries before that.  What I was remembering was the conversion of the Turkic leader Seljuk to islam, which set the whole Turkic-Hun-Mongol-islamic admixture in motion.

The wiki page of “Turkic Peoples” is quite fascinating.  You can trace the Turkic People from darn-near the Korean Peninsula south and west to the Anatolian Peninsula, and the Huns obviously to Hungary.  And Finland has to be mentioned too, as Hungarian and Finnish are in the same completely crazy linguistic family which is most decidedly NOT Indo-European, which means that Finland was settled by a detachment of Huns, almost certainly. And Mongols and Huns are BOTH subsets of the broader category “Turkic”.

As an aside, check out this picture of an ethnically Finnish woman – NOT Swedish, but pure Finnish.  Her physiognomy is not atypical for full-blood Finns.

Dye her hair black and she could be your drycleaner. Or your Differential Equations professor. Or both.

Quick Cattle Thing… Anybody got a portable scale?

Before I return to my least favorite thing- posting about sodomite prelates and all that, a quick return to my old life and “raison d’etre”.

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE IN THE OLD CATTLE READERSHIP HAVE A SINGLE PORTABLE SCALE THEY HAVE OUTGROWN FOR A SELL-BUY CORNERSTONE BEGINNER IN EASTERN COLORADO (this can include Nebraska, Kansas, WY, NM, both panhandles…._??

Email me with “SCALE” in the subject header if so.

The Anti-John the Baptist Is Easy To Spot – He Acts Like Herod

St. John the Baptist Rebuking Herod, Giovanni Fattori, late 19th century

For the Feast of St. John the Baptist, the following is an EXTREMELY prescient and timely excerpt of a sermon of St. Peter Chrysologous who was a Fifth Century bishop of Ravenna in Italy.  I cannot recommend it strongly enough.  Read it slowly, at least twice.  For anyone who is following events surrounding the Bergoglian antipapacy, and specifically the relentless attack on marriage – which really is an attack on The Church and every human being by extension, it is impossible to read this without seeing the absolutely stunning contemporary relevance. Emphases mine. -AB

Today while the virtue of John and the ferocity of Herod are related to us, our innards were shaken, our hearts trembled, our sight grew dim, our mind became dull, our hearing deserted us. For is there anything within human sensation that remains undisturbed within when a large amount of vice destroys a large amount of virtue?

“Herod,” it says, “apprehended John, and had him bound, and put in prison.” (Mt. 14:3) John was the school of the virtues, the instructor of life, the model of sanctity, the pattern of morality, the mirror of virginity, the epitome of purity, the example of chastity, the way of penitence, the pardon of sins, the discipline of faith. John was greater than a human being, equal to the angels, the apex of the Law, the seed of the Gospel, the harbinger of the Apostles, the silence of the Prophets, the lamp of the world, the herald of the Judge, the Forerunner of Christ, the preparer for the Lord, the witness of God, the mediator of the Whole Trinity.

But Herod is the very one who desecrated the Temple, ruined the priesthood, disturbed its proper order, profaned the kingdom, corrupted anything that had to do with religion, the Law, life and morals, faith and discipline. Herod was ever an assassin toward his fellow citizens, a brigand toward people of any distinction, a ravager toward his allies, a robber toward those of his own household, a killer  of the common folk, a murderer of his children, a slayer of foreigners, a parricide towards his own, drenching the land with gore in his bloodthirstiness. And so it is that he gulped down the hallowed blood of John from his enormous cup of cruelty. But now let the reading speak for itself.

“Herod,” it says, “apprehended John and had him bound.” He who had released sins’ shackles is bound with the shackles of a sinner, so that pardon once shackled might not leave any room for pardon. “He had him bound and put in prison.” Herod, you are the one who committed adultery, yet John the Baptist goes to prison? Thus one who is guilty sits in the judge’s place and passes judgment, the persecutor of innocence takes the place of a defender. I ask, where is truth to be found? Where is good reputation? Where is decency? Where is the good name of the public magistrate? In fact, where is God? Where is the human being? Where is decorum? Where is the law? Where are purely natural rights? Everything all at once has been thrown into turmoil, O Herod, because of the way you act, pass judgment, and give orders.

“He apprehended John,” it says, “and he had him bound, and put in prison.” Herod, you are being subpoenaed, his shackles place the blame on you, the prison accuses you, the harm done to John publicly points to you. The one who looks for the reason for John’s arrest finds in you what deserves punishment, and the cause for his distress about John. John, who is recognized throughout the world for his reputation, who is known for his virtue, who is widely renowned for his sanctity, by attracting to himself those who inquire into the harm done to him, sees to it that your incest becomes disclosed to all; he brings it about that you are put to shame in public, since a reproof in private was unable to reform you.

John kept after Herod with warnings, not with an accusation; he wanted him to mend his ways, not to perish; but Herod preferred to perish rather than to reform. To those held captive by crimes, the freedom of innocence become most odious. Virtue is antagonistic to the vicious, sanctity is detestable to the sacrilegious, chastity is inimical to the shameless, integrity is a punishment to the corrupt, temperance is a foe to the wanton; mercy is unbearable to the cruel, godliness to the ungodly, justice to the unjust.

The Evangelist attests to this when he says: “John kept saying: ‘It is not right for you to take the wife of your brother Philip.’ ” This is the reason why John runs afoul. The one who warns the wicked is a considered offensive. The one who rebukes those who are at fault is deemed blameworthy. What John had to say concerned the Law, justice, and well-being; his remarks certainly were not spoken out of hatred, but out of love: but see what kind of reward he received for his devotion from the ungodly one!

“Although he wanted to kill him,” it says, “he was afraid of the people.” It is easy for one to turn away from justice who is motivated by the fear; not of God, but of human beings. This fear can postpone the opportunity to sin, but cannot take away the will to sin. Therefore it is also the case that those whom fear delays from committing iniquity become even more eager for iniquity. It is only the fear of God which corrects minds, banishes offenses, preserves innocence, and bestows an endless capacity for good.

(From Selected Sermons of St. Peter Chrysologus, Sermon 127)

And people wonder why I strongly suspect that Antipope Bergoglio might just be the False Prophet Forerunner of the Antichrist.

Barnhardt Podcast #054: Speechless Gorillas and Naval Officers

[Direct link to the MP3 file]

In this episode, amid a few cases of buzzing interference, we discuss Koko the “talking” gorilla’s final release from a life of chocolatey abuse from Penny Patterson, the media’s melancholy about this precious primate, and set the record straight about the extent of an animal’s ability to communicate with humans. Not that humans are all great communicators: we cover news that broke this past week that the female Officer of the Deck and the female Tactical Action Officer (two people who should be in constant communication when a ship is at sea) were not speaking to one another. It’s not yet know if this was a matter of incompetence or a cat-fight that got out of control but the result was massive damage to a billion-and-a-half dollar ship and funerals for several of the sailors. Our ability as humans to communicate ideas and concepts is a wonderful gift: it would be a shame if our neglect and abuse of this gift resulted in something unfortunate.

Repost: The #MeToo Sex Assault/Harassment Movement Needs To Begin With Men In The Church

(Originally penned and posted in November of ARSH 2017 when the whole Weinstein #MeToo thing broke.  Now with the exposure of the open secret of American Cardinal McCarrick being a serial sodomite assaulter, others are calling for the countless thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of males who have been victims and/or witnesses to these filthy sacrilegious sodomites and their crimes to SPEAK THE HELL UP. Considering that the majority of Novus Ordo priests by now are sodomites (many seminaries specifically purged heterosexual men), and the VAST majority of bishops are sodomites, the victim pool here is absolutely enormous.)

There are literally THOUSANDS of men, both clerics and laymen, who have been propositioned for sodomy, or sodomitically assaulted by priests, bishops and cardinals.  I daresay that most men, lay and cleric, who have been sent to Rome to study or work have a story to tell.  Rome, being the festering cesspit of faggotry that it has been for decades and now, as Edward Pentin has reported, is now the worst it has been in living memory, precisely because of the Bergoglian Antipapacy, and the fact that the faggots are in power and feel they are legally untouchable.

I think it is high time that these filthy faggots be disabused of their misperception.

Anyone out there reading this ever been propositioned for sodomy or sodomitically assaulted by a priest, bishop or cardinal – not just in Rome, but anywhere in the world?

I know there are.

Why not speak up?  Why not start naming names? Just as with the Weinstein and Spacey victims, the fact that no one spoke up only enabled the assault and rape of all of the subsequent victims to happen. If you are one of the men who has been propositioned or assaulted by one of these filthy, disgusting faggots that are poisoning and destroying the Church, are you cool with the idea of ONE MORE KID, ONE MORE SEMINARIAN, ONE MORE GOOD PRIEST being propositioned for acts so disgusting, so vile that they cry out to heaven for God’s vengeance?  Are you comfortable to let the sacrilege continue?  Are you content to let another class of seminarians or young priests be scandalized at best, and assaulted or raped at worst?

Look, do you honestly think that you are THE ONLY MAN that filthy cleric or prelate ever did that to?  Don’t you think that this is a pathological behavior? Don’t you think that grooming and maneuvering to get lads and men in the position to be propositioned or assaulted is a highly planned, practiced and repeated activity?  Don’t kid yourself – the reason that priest or bishop propositioned or assaulted you isn’t because you are so incredibly physically desirable.  He did it because you woke up breathing with a penis.  Period.  You were an object – a piece of meat.  Nothing more.

Gentlemen and Fathers, it is time to speak up and expose these filthy, soul-killing, God-hating, sacrilegious sex pervert wretches.

St. Peter Damian, pray for us.

Christ, have mercy on us.

Art and Sex Perverts – My Thoughts

Okay, I’ll put some thoughts here and also post them over on the AmericanDigest.org thread.  Quite a thread over there (although there are a few comments with unedited language – not for the eyes of children)! I hope this spurs a continuation of the discussion.

The first point that needs to be addressed is the notion that almost no art today is produced without the involvement of sodomites or other sex perverts, whether it be in production, set building, backing or orchestral musicians, etc.  My answer goes directly back to my original thesis:  the issue is whether or not the art itself projects an aesthetic of sexual perversion, or points to or is perverse and obscene.  Can I promise you that every contractor or laborer that worked on the building or remodeling of the house I live in was sexually normal and pure?  Of course not.  If the man who installed the bathroom tile were a sex pervert, how could I know that, and even if I somehow did, does that mean I should move out of my house?  Well, not unless he arranged the bathroom tiles in the shape of a phallus.  In exactly the same way, we can’t know who every orchestral musician or set builder was, but what we can know is whether or not the ART ITSELF points to or glorifies sodomy.

And, as an aside, this is why you get your house blessed by a priest early and often – at least once per year at either Epiphany or Easter.  Not only is the sacramental a conduit of grace, but it also gives one peace of mind.  And, may I just ask, have you ever slept in a hotel?  At this point, every hotel room in the western world is pretty much guaranteed to be a crime scene – because remember, sodomy is a crime.

This reminds me of the heresy of Donatism, which is a MASSIVE problem in The Church today.  Many very pious people are tempted to believe that the interior state of the soul of the priest determines whether or not the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered.  Hence, many people fall into the heretical trap that all Masses and sacraments performed by sodomite priests (or heterosexual fornicator priests, etc.) are invalid, and that any priest in the state of mortal sin is incapable of confecting the Eucharist.  This is, of course, TOTALLY WRONG.  Considering that it is, by definition, impossible for any of us to know the state of the soul of anyone else, much less a priest, how IN THE WORLD could Jesus Christ hold us responsible for that, and how could Jesus Christ establish His Church and His Sacraments such that they would be not just illicit, but INVALID a non-trivial percentage of the time with it literally impossible for the faithful to know either way?  This argument maps closely to what we are talking about with art.  How could people be held responsible for what Tchaikovsky did, or whatever sodomite Renaissance painter?  Can one determine from the 1812 Overture that Tchaikovsky was a sodomite?  Of course not.  Nor can one determine from da Vinci’s Annunciation what da Vinci’s sins were.

I’d also like to revisit a point I made not too long ago, namely that up until just a few short decades ago, many people literally did not know about sodomy, homosexuality, transvestitism, pedophilia, bestiality – none of it.  At all.  Lots and lots of people in the Christian world went through life never knowing that there were people who engaged in same-sex sins.  I cited a clip from the 1980s sitcom “The Golden Girls”, in which the promiscuous, Jezebel character Blanche, confuses “Lesbian” for “Lebanese” and has to have it explained to her.  It got a huge laugh not because it was implausible, but because it WAS plausible.  THIS is why the flamboyantly gay pianist Liberace was as popular as he was, and with the demographic that he was popular with – old women.  When Liberace came mincing out out on stage in a pink sequined tuxedo, it literally NEVER OCCURRED to most of the elderly women in the audience that Liberace was a sodomite because a non-trivial percentage of them were totally unaware that sodomy existed on earth – and I’m not exaggerating.  And THIS ties back to the piece I just wrote on how Diabolical Narcissists (when all sex perverts, by definition, are to one degree or another) derive their greatest satisfaction from watching people watch them as they act out.  Liberace got his biggest rush from the fact that a bunch of old women who went to the United Methodist church every Sunday and probably taught Sunday school were his biggest fans, and that he was rubbing his sexual perversion in their faces, and they were too “stupid” and “unsophisticated” to even realize it.  Should they have at least been off-put by Liberace’s aesthetic, especially when he stopped wearing normal black tuxedos in the 1960s and started wearing the ridiculous outfits that he did?  It is hard to say.  Given how jaded and steeped in perversity we all are, it is pretty much impossible to revert back to a mindset innocent of all of the filth we now know.  This is a perfect example of how only Christ can judge the soul of man.

The next point is the notion that ONLY sodomites are good at certain types of art.  Again, this is false, and the best example of this is ballet and dance in general.  First, ballet.  It is taken as axiomatic that all male ballet dancers are sodomites just by virtue of the fact that ballet is intrinsically graceful.  But this notion is false – a product of the fact that sodomites infected, were tolerated and then pretty much took over ballet.  But isn’t it interesting that the two best male ballet dancers of the 20th century were totally heterosexual – Mikhail Baryshnikov and Fernando Bujones.  Both were incredibly good dancers, graceful yet powerful and almost preternaturally athletic, and also compelling in their roles as male leads, interacting romantically with the ballerina, as almost every ballet entails.  Isn’t is telling that in a field as saturated with sodomites as the ranks of male ballet dancers is, that it was the heterosexuals that were head and shoulders above the rest.

Two other great male dancers of the 20th century also bear mentioning: Fred Astaire and Gene Kelley – both straight.  Astaire projected masculine elegance, and was at his best serving as a mobile stage decoration for Ginger Rogers, while Kelley was the all-American athlete-dancer.  Donald O’Connor gets an honorable mention here, too.

In my next entry on this topic, I will specifically deal with Michelangelo, who seems to always be cited in conversations about this subject.

Cruise over to AmericanDigest.org if you have anything to add.

Baryshnikov at his peak.  The pirouette sequence at the end is insane.  Look at the control at the finish.

Art Created By Homosexuals: A Tandem Post and Discussion at American Digest Blog

I am pleased to point one and all to a “tandem post” between Barnhardt.biz and Gerard VanderLeun’s blog, AmericanDigest.org .  This post and conversation came about a couple of days ago in a comment thread under a post GvL made of a Noel Coward song.  I actually linked to another Noel Coward song, “Let’s Don’t Be Beastly to the Germans” in the show notes of Barnhardt Podcast #051, and then GvL posted “What’s Going to happen to the children when there aren’t any more grown-ups?” – certainly an incredibly prescient question and diddy from some 60+ years ago.

I leave comments on blogs hardly ever, but I did leave a quick comment making the point that it is quite a commentary on today’s culture when a flamboyant sodomite – as Noel Coward was – displays the kind of virile moral leadership in calling out the descent of western culture that we can only FANTASIZE about today.  Put another way, things said by queeny, British fags of 60+ years ago are now so far to the “right” socially that they would be characterized by the howling moonbat SJW’s as “fascist” or “Nazi” or whatever the non-sensical pejorative du jour is.

This, in turn, spurred a conversation about homosexuals in art and how decent, moral people should relate to such.  The key question is this: Is it morally licit to consume art (music, painting, dance) that we know, after the fact, was made by sodomites?  My thesis is this:

Consuming art created by sodomites is permissible so long as the art in question does not have a “sodomite aesthetic”, and does not point to nor glorify sexual perversion.

The Russian classical composer Tchaikovsky was a sodomite.  Is it okay to listen to his music?  Here is the Pas de Deux from the Nutcracker Ballet – one of my favorite pieces of Classical music. Does this have a sodomite aesthetic or glorify sexual perversion?  I would say no.

In the spirit of self-correction, the critique of Noel Coward that has to be made is that his entire persona, like that of Liberace or Elton John, was, as the Brits say, “camp”, that is, queeny.  Noel Coward inspired the chorus boys in the West End (London’s theater district, like Broadway in New York), to openly manifest as fags, which carried on through the years into the growing cancer of “poofterism” in British culture.  THAT is a problem.

You will see over on the AmericanDigest post that one of GvL’s readers is a male heterosexual professional classical musician who has worked for years in San Francisco, and thus has some insights to share, and that’s what really opened up the discussion.  As you will see, the readers shot down his premise that to “demand a life absolutely free of homosexuals, you will condemn yourself and your loved ones to a life without art.”  That is so very, very wrong.

I’ll leave the intro at that, and recommend you to click over to the post and thread to provide any thoughts and input.  I’ll will be adding additional points in the comment thread over there, too.  And I have plenty.

Gett’em While They’re Hot, Folks!

Our friend over at NonVeniPacem blog has set up a VERY limited time T-shirt store, inspired by the T-shirt donned by the new Deputy Italian Prime Minister, but in English, and with a very important linguistic precision.  Deputy Prime Minister Salvini’s T-shirt said “My Pope is… Benedict”, but that phraseology is theologically wrong.  The identity of the Pope is NOT a question of our individual conscience.  It is an ontological reality, applicable to everyone.  There is no “my Pope” and “your Pope”.  There is only THE Pope.  Therefore, to assign the possessive to the Papacy is a problem in and of itself.  Thankfully, Non Veni Pacem has corrected this, and his T-Shirt reads, “Pope Benedict XVI… Still Reigning”.

YAY!!! Because it’s TRUE!!!!

Since almost all of the major “Trad Catholic” websites actively censor any discussion or comment on the CANONICAL VALIDITY (Canon 188) of Pope Benedict XVI’s attempted faux invalid partial abdication, wouldn’t it be instructive to see Mr. Non Veni Pacem have a huge response to his T-shirts, so much so that he might even have to extend the offer?

HERE IS NON VENI PACEM’S SPECIFIC PAGE.

HERE IS A DIRECT LINK TO THE T-SHIRT VENDOR PAGE.

MINE HAS ALREADY BEEN PURCHASED, AND IS EN ROUTE TO BARNHARDT in the VAN DOWN BY THE OTHER RIVER.  Just sayin’. (Thanks!)

Wouldn’t this make an excellent, EXCELLENT gift for Uber-Trad Father’s Day?  And remember, our good and Holy Priests are our spiritual fathers!

As Frank Bartles and Ed Jaymes said so well, and so succinctly in the days of my youth, “Thank YOU for your support.”

The Stale Big Mac Maneuver

After much foot-dragging and procrastination, and with great loathing, I am rolling out, under counsel, what I am calling “The Stale Big Mac Maneuver”.

Long story short, I have been advised and encouraged to develop and build a broad “subscriber base” using my current ContinueToGive donation platform, as is the norm with most “podcasters”, in order to regularize cash flows, and to build up savings in the form of pre-paid rent and well-defended FRNs.  Even though I struggle with the notion, I am assured that it is not unreasonable, and is even responsible and prudent for an adult human to strive for financial stability, savings, and an ability to absorb unforeseen expenses. It’s so crazy, it might just be true!

Thanks to SuperNerd, we have now produced 53 Barnhardt Podcasts in just over a year, including the hiatus after the arrival of Tiny Princess.  I enjoy doing it, SuperNerd enjoys producing it, and, apparently, quite a few people enjoy listening to it.  Hooray!  And, of course, blogging continues apace here at Barnhardt.biz .

Why is it called “The Stale Big Mac Maneuver”?

This name originally comes from a name SuperNerd gave to topics on the Barnhardt Podcast that we had beaten to death (cough, the Bergoglian Antipapacy, cough).  As I started thinking economist thoughts about utility and value, I started getting angsty about what dollar value of utility I am actually able to deliver here.  I know that many of my benefactors in their extreme munificence already WAY overcompensate me for the product I provide (leaving aside the Benefactor Masses, which are my duty).  I thought to myself that since a stale Big Mac costs about $5.25 today, that is the dollar level of utility that I feel I can provide to a benefactor/subscriber per month. Maybe.  If I try real hard. That is what I have been advised to do and am looking to develop.

But always at the forefront of my mind is the fundamental truth of monetary theory: money is a  fungible proxy for the human capacity to labor, produce and create through time.  Every dollar someone gives to me is a piece of their life – time they spent working, producing, creating, which was then turned into dollars when someone exchanged value-for-value.  Money isn’t pieces of metal, pieces of paper, or zeroes and ones on a computer server.  Money is, at its core, quantities of human lives in exchangeable form. That is a deeply humbling and intimidating thought, especially when all one does is rant and rave on the innerwebz.

A Few Words To Existing Benefactors

If you are an existing benefactor, and you are thinking to yourself, “Uh-oh.  Ann is talking about money.  This must mean that I’m not doing enough…”, let me disabuse you of that false premise immediately.  Not only are my existing benefactors stunningly munificent, I actually WORRY that some might even be TOO munificent.  Sometimes a donation notification will come into my email box and I will think to myself, “What percentage of this person’s rent or mortgage payment is this?”  I worry.

Which brings us to another point that it is morally incumbent upon me to say: If meeting your monthly rent or mortgage payment is EVER in doubt or question, YOU SHOULD NOT BE DONATING/SUBSCRIBING TO ME.  Period. Please – PLEASE, just pray for me, and for the priests that offer the Barnhardt Benefactor Masses, and the weekly Requiem Mass.  Please.  Remember, the Barnhardt Benefactor Masses are offered every day for my benefactors and SUPPORTERS.  God knows who you are. As we all heard on Saturday morning cartoon commercials when we were kids, “NO PURCHASE NECESSARY”.

A third note for existing benefactors who are using the ContinueToGive recurring platform: I get quite a few notices of “failed transactions” on recurring donation profiles due to expired credit cards, and cards that have been deactivated.  Tangential story: I just had to get my one remaining plastic card re-issued last month as I made the stupid mistake of using an outdoor ATM.  Apparently, the new “thing” in credit card fraud is installing clandestine chip readers in outdoor ATM machines which read and record the card numbers, and then are extracted by the criminals, and the harvested numbers are sold on the black market.  In my case, criminals in Washington D.C. had purchased my card number (I’ve never set foot anywhere near Washington D.C. in my life), and proceeded to max out my card (temporary authorizations – none of the transactions went through) with failed $500 ATM withdrawal attempts – apparently they were trying to guess the PIN. I got a fraud notification within minutes from the credit card company, but a new card had to be issued, which took just over a week.  It is a major, major inconvenience, and can really put a person in a pinch.  I will never use an outdoor ATM again. But back to the original point, I know there are quite a few recurring donation profiles on ContinueToGive that fail every month.  So just a heads-up there.

A brief summary of my situation and expenses

My two major expenditures, by far, are rent (which includes all utilities and internet), and food/toiletries.  I have a cellphone, which isn’t very expensive at all – I hardly make telephone calls anymore. I have no health insurance, and recently availed myself of the neighborhood walk-in clinic, and was able to see a doctor and get a course of antibiotics and steroids for my dual ear infection for less than $100 – which was a relief.  This was the first time I had seen a doctor or taken a prescription in over ten years.  Not bad.

I have no car, and am able to walk everywhere.  When I do have to move any significant distance, I use public transport.  I do enjoy taking the occasional pilgrimage, when the opportunity arises, but either use public transport or ride with friends.  I have not been in an airplane in four years (thanks be to God).  I do, on occasion, take continuing education courses.  My current rental situation is very favorable.  The landlord is outstanding and lets me pay rent in cash, the dwelling itself is exquisitely maintained and the location couldn’t be better (for me).  I am within easy walking distance of daily Tridentine Mass, and I am also within easy walking distance of a Ukrainian Greek Catholic Parish – so I even have a back-up Divine Liturgy on Sundays in case anything happens to the Latin Mass.  I have been in this “parking spot down by the river” for 20 months now after a forced emergency move in the fall of ARSH 2016, and I hope I can stay here indefinitely. So that’s a little summary of my day-to-day situation.

How I Tithe

I have also been asked about how I tithe.  I mostly tithe “in kind” and directly to priests, namely by hospitality (picking up the bill for a meal – I get a steady stream of visitors), and to a lesser extent these days by physical labor.  My church-cleaning skills are well-known in certain circles, and I wield a mean steam iron.  I only give cash tithes directly to good and holy priests with the explicit promise that the money will go for THEIR expenses, and not one cent will go to the chancery or bishop’s conference.  I will not subsidize the human trafficking schemes, sodomite abuse cover-up payments and settlements, NewWorldOrder FrancisChurch agenda or Antichurch activities that pretty much every bishop is up to his eyebrows in.  NO WAY.

Snail Mail Donations

Yes, my mailbox in Centennial, CO is secure and checked regularly.  Check, money order and small cash donations can be received there.

Cattle Marketing DVD

Yes, I still have copies of my Cornerstone Cattle Marketing Level 1 DVD set available for sale.  For ordering instructions, email me with “Cattle Marketing DVD” in the subject header, and I will send the ordering instructions back.

So, from now on, when you see the Stale Big Mac thumbnail which will be a hotlink to my ContinueToGive Donation page, you will know what it is.

My undying thanks to one and all for your years of readership and listenership, and for your generosity.  After the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, should I live to see it, I will write a book and tell you all of the amazing stories which current circumstances prevent me from sharing.  In the mean time, please accept my deepest, sincerest thanks for essentially subsidizing my existence, and making the “involuntary early retirement phase” of my life as shockingly wonderful and unpredictable as it has been, and continues to be.

Be assured of my prayers, and I shall continue to endeavor to provide at least “Stale Big Mac” utility and value.

P.S.  SuperNerd’s PayPal page for SuperNerd Media is HERE.  Thanks again for all of your prayers for SuperNerd, SuperMommy and Tiny Princess!

Finally, a concluding quote from St. Basil:

“Does not the gratitude of the dog put to shame any man who is ungrateful to his benefactors?”
