Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen Back to an image of St. Paul sent in by a reader, this one being by the Sienese Mannerist Beccafumi. (Yes – a Mannerist piece, which we likes. Don’t hates us. It’s just this one. We promises, Precioussss.) On the left is Saul (soon to be renamed Paul by Our Lord) after being knocked off his horse on the Road to Damascus at the moment of his conversion. On the right is a graphic representation of Paul’s beheading. We need to see these things. That’s what really happened. One second there was Paul, the next second his head was laying in front of his bleeding-out neck stump. Many folks upon my posting of the very first image in this series of the statue of St. Paul cried out, “But Ann! The only reason Paul is shown with a sword is because that was the instrument of his execution!” True, true. But I still think we’re missing the point. In the center is a wonderful Paul, head firmly restored to body, as he sits and reads scripture while holding the same ASSAULT WEAPON that beheaded him, easily yet manfully across his lap and resting on his forearm. The reason martyr saints are depicted holding the instrument of their execution is because it is just so totally macho. It is the ultimate comeback. Dare I use the term, it is a bit of visual trash-talking, except the holy, sanctified kind. “Oh, yeah, big man? You thought that cutting my head off was going to end this? Oh, no, no, no baby. That wasn’t the end of it – that was just the beginning. Now that I’m in heaven I can REALLY get to work. And you better trust that my ASSAULT WEAPON is longer, sharper and more fearsome than yours could ever be.” Now map this onto today. Eventually someone in the U.S. is going to get shot by the government for being a Christian. Let’s say that the person is shot with one of the 7000 AR-15s that Janet Napolitano just ordered. How should the dead person be pictured in iconography thence forward? They should be pictured just like St. Paul – manfully holding an AR-15, even if they never fired an AR in combat themselves. It is the ultimate jab at the tyrants – cut me down and it only makes me stronger, and I will embrace your own weaponry and wave it back in your face, sanctified. And then WATCH WHAT HAPPENS. MACHO.

I get a steady stream of these types of emails, but I think the pace has picked up a bit lately. I post this so that all of the financial professionals of conscience out there can know that they are not crazy and they are not alone. Guys, it’s time to call it. I want you to go through the mental exercise I went through in early November of 2011. Pull up your equity run. Go through account by account. Think about the people therein listed, and their money that is with you. Then imagine having to call every one of those people and tell them that their money is gone. All of it. Up in smoke. Now, in addition to having all of their money stolen, think about those people and ask yourself how many of them would be at risk for suffering any of the following eventualities as a direct result of being wiped out: Business failure I suspect that the Apple crash has something to do with this uptick in “I’m done” emails, as it appears that most of the guys I’m hearing from are on the equities side. Whatever. Whatever it takes to make you realize that it is absolutely morally incumbent upon YOU to do everything you can to protect whatever monies your clients have with you. Don’t think for one second that Christ Almighty doesn’t know and understand the term “fiduciary duty” and won’t hesitate to drop it on you at your Particular Judgment. Ann, I’m a Catholic, a gun owner, a southerner, a family man, I’m also a financial advisor. I see where this is headed. I’m in the process of an exit strategy of the business. I can no longer represent a system that is rigged. I see these gutless masters-of-their-universe peers who are so far from a state of reality, I just can’t do it anymore. I’m going to advise my clients to get out because I’m getting out. As you know, the money is good, but if I continue, I’m part of the problem. I don’t know what I’ll do, but I’ll figure it out. J.

And FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen Wow. Look at this Russian statue of a saint holding a massive, enormous ASSAULT WEAPON. Goodness. Look at that thing! That could put someone’s eye out! What if children saw this statue? Young boys could be turned into masculine wanna-be soldier nightmares, or something. Who is this person, wielding this ASSAULT WEAPON and scandalizing children? Um, that’s Santa Claus. This is St. Nicholas Mozhaisky, who is the same person as St. Nicholas of Myra that punched the heretic Arius right in the piehole at the Council of Nicea, that we all know and love today under his Dutch moniker, Santa Claus. In the 14th century, the city of Mozhaisk, Russia, which is just west of Moscow, was being invaded and besieged by a Mongol-Tartar army. The invading army was massive and the locals were outnumbered. The situation was all but hopeless. So, the people turned to prayer, begging God for a miracle, because a miracle was their only hope. God answered them. St. Nicholas appeared as a massive vision in the sky holding an ENORMOUS, GLISTENING ASSAULT WEAPON in his right hand, and the city in his left – which is shown in the statue above. Upon seeing Santa Claus above them manfully wielding his GINORMOUS, HUGANTIC ASSAULT WEAPON, the Mongol-Tartar army who had been guaranteed a total victory by their size and tactical dominance of the city of Mozhaisk, dropped everything, turned around and ran away as fast as their little Mongolian feets could carry them. Mozhaisk was saved. HO.
Pulchra: beauty Pulchra Vera = True beauty, or genuine beauty As the world around us descends into ugliness and lies, we must not descend with it. There will always be beauty no matter what happens, because beauty is a constitutive quality of God Himself. Beauty cannot be totally eliminated from the world any more than God can be eliminated from the world. This is the vocal ensemble Chanticleer singing the Welsh lullaby Suo Gan. Pulchra Vera.
Amen Meet St. Mercurius, who was born Philopater in 224 AD to pagan parents. When he was a child, his father had a vision and promptly received baptism along with his wife and Philopater, who was rechristened Mercurius. Mercurius’ father, rechristened Noah, was a war hero and POW. Upon Noah’s death, the Roman Emperor Decius elevated Mercurius to take his father’s place. Mercurius, despite his relative youth, was extremely courageous and a natural leader of men. When the Berbers attacked Rome, Emperor Decius himself rode out to fight, but when he saw how outnumbered the Romans were, he chickened out. It was Mercurius who had to give Decius manful encouragement, saying to Decius, “Do not be afraid, because God will destroy our enemies and will bring us victory.” Several days into the battle, our old friend, St. Michael the Archangel appeared to Mercurius and gave him a sword (which is an ASSAULT WEAPON) and told him to go manfully kill Berbers with it. St. Michael guaranteed Mercurius victory, but also told him that he would eventually suffer and be martyred for Christ. Sure enough, against all odds, Mercurius whupped the larger Berber force, Rome was saved and Decius made him a prince. Soon after Emperor Decius started persecuting Christians and summoned Mercurius to go offer incense with him to the pagan gods in thanks for delivering the victory against the Berbers. Mercurius quietly refused to participate. Decius got all pissy and demanded to know why. Mercurius, being a stone-cold man, and knowing full well that it meant his torture and death, looked Decius square in the eye and said: Your Majesty, the victory was not due to dumb idols made by human hands. It was accomplished by the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who sent His archangel to give me a sword and strengthened me. I cannot deny my God and worship statues. Decius ordered Mercurius arrested, had him tortured multiple different ways, always trying to elicit a denial of Christ, but Mercurius being the stone-cold man that he was bore all of his tortures in silence – to a miraculous degree. Finally Decius had him beheaded on December 4, AD 250. Mercurius’ final act was to beg God’s forgiveness for his persecutors and executioners. Mercurius was 25 years old. Oh, by the way, the Berbers are the people of Western Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Mali and Mauritania. St. Mercurius, pray for us.

Amen Meet St. Martin of Tours. He was a fourth century Roman soldier, and like many, many Roman soldiers was also a convert to Christianity. While he was yet being instructed in the Faith and before his baptism, Martin encountered a homeless man begging in the cold. The beggar was barely clothed in just a few rags. Martin, moved with compassion and pity for the man drew his sword, also known as an ASSAULT WEAPON, and cut his own cape in half, and gave half to the freezing beggar. **I know this story seems completely unbelievable because everyone knows that people who carry and wield ASSAULT WEAPONS are incapable of anything like COMPASSION or CHARITY, but you’ll just have to suspend your disbelief on this one.** That night, Martin had a dream in which he saw Our Lord wearing the half of his cloak that he had shared with the beggar. In his dream, Our Lord said to the angels, “Here is Martin, the Roman soldier who is not baptized; he has clad Me.” Martin was received into the Church and went on to be a manful bishop who fought the heresy of Arianism. St. Martin’s cloak was kept as a relic and was carried into battle by the French Army. The French would set up a special tent on field of battle to house St. Martin’s cloak. The word for cloak in Latin is “cappa”. The priests who took care of the cloak were thus referred to as the “cappellani”. Eventually, all priests charged with the care of soldiers were called “cappellani”. The Latin word “cappellani” became “chapelains” in French, which eventually became “chaplains” in English. How ’bout them apples?
As I have written about previously, there is NOTHING that will send a lesbian neo-pagan heretic witch nun into a full-on conniption fit as quickly and surely as a CHAPEL VEIL. Which is reason enough, right there, why EVERY woman should wear a veil whenever she is in the presence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. If it makes Sister-Comrade Crewcut flip out, then it MUST be a deeply, deeply good thing. But I’ve got more mind-blowing theology to drop. Let’s start with this axiom: We veil that which is HOLY. Okay, so what do we veil? Or, what are we SUPPOSED to veil? At this point, you poor people stuck in the Novus Ordo are just going to have to trust me. The Tabernacle is veiled. The Tabernacle physically contains Our Lord in the Eucharist, therefore the Tabernacle is obviously holy. In fact, it is the Holy of Holies. (The Communist-homosexualist infiltrators stopped veiling the Tabernacle – heck they tried to get rid of it altogether in many parishes, because they don’t want you to know or believe that He is physically there.) The Chalice is veiled. The Chalice is the container in which the Precious Blood is consecrated and reposes. Therefore, the Chalice is obviously holy. (Again, Novus Ordo people have probably never seen a Chalice veil. It’s all part of the satanic plan to desacralize the Mass and convince the people that the Mass and Eucharist are “a symbolic meal” and “no big deal”.) And, what else is to be veiled? Women. Why? Because women are the vessels and containers of life in their wombs. And, as we discussed, women reflect the vulnerability and responsiveness of Our Lord upon the altar at the consecration of the Eucharist. The Church has always taught, from day one, that women are to be veiled so that men will be reminded of the HOLY DIGNITY of women, and so that the women themselves will remember and live their lives in accordance with their own dignity. And these stupid lesbian nuns shriek and bellow that veiling is DEGRADING. They are so far gone all you can do is pity them in their utter insanity. Now the tie-in with the priest leaning down and putting his elbows on the altar, reflecting the marital embrace. When a husband is engaging in the marital embrace with his wife in the proper physical position (yes, face-to-face, with the husband above is the proper conjugal position – anything else is disordered at best, and gravely sinful at worst), the husband is VEILING HIS WIFE’S BODY WITH HIS OWN BODY. When the priest puts his elbows down on the altar at the consecration, the priest is literally VEILING OUR LORD’S BODY WITH HIS OWN BODY. And remember, the Mass is the GREATER reality, and the marital embrace of husband and wife is the LESSER reality pointing mankind to Our Lord and the Mass. Could this all be any more achingly beautiful? Seriously. Top Image: Veiled Tabernacle Hat Tip on this piece to “Fr. Formaggio”.
