Semicentennial Mailbag: No longer part of the Old-Young, but now of the Young-Old

Ann,

Congratulations on reaching this milestone.

I will never forget stumbling across your website in the depths of Covid, whilst I was searching for ivermectin dosage information. And did I ever hit the jackpot! Not only did I find what I was looking for, I found your cattle marketing program and your brilliant catalogue of apologetics and Church commentary.

I received a thorough education on the state of the Church and it made so much sense to me. My husband and I knew there was something severely off with Bergoglio and the work you did just instantly struck a chord.

We are deep in the heart of lefty, liberal novus ordo country in rural Australia, and your work has undoubtedly encouraged us to deepen our faith and deepen the faith of our children. We have ongoing discussions around the state of the Church and the Catholic faith which have proved fruitful in our prayer life and understanding of the importance of sacred tradition.

And thanks be to God, we are seeing the fruits of this start to appear in our community. We have a newly ordained young orthodox priest in the diocese who travels out to visit us regularly and is learning the Latin Mass. I also put him onto your blog, which he is immensely enjoying! Young families in our parish are diving deeper into the history of the Church and approaching us for discussion and information.

I would never have thought this was possible 10 years ago. There is a long way to go and a big fight ahead, but I am hopeful.

Not to mention your cattle trading programme. We’re 5 years in and we are starting to really develop our skill in this area. It has been a blessing for our operations – and we have further refined this knowledge through an Australian run programme called KLR which uses the same methods that Bud taught.

So Ann, thanks be to God for you and your ongoing courage and continued forthrightness! May the good Lord bless you and keep you safe.

I will have a Mass offered for you in the next few days.

God bless,

L

Happy, Blessed birthday, Ann – you youngster, you. You are no longer part of the old young…but you are now part of the Young old. God Bless and Protect.

Happy Birthday, Ann!

Thank you for the amazing work, from the super-serious to the very fun. It’s kept me sane, especially here in the Archdiocese of Chicago.

God bless you always!

Happy Birthday, Ann!

I am about 8.5 years older than you are and I can tell you that the 50’s are nothing to fear. The 60’s on the other hand… 😉

I hope you have a great and blessed day with your nearby friends and that you receive many well-wishes and prayers from your online acquaintances!

God Bless!

Miss Barnhardt:
I am writing to you to wish you the happiest of birthday wishes!!
It has almost been a year since your interview with Stephen Kokx, and it was then I had first heard of you. I would like to say that your takes, along with the rest of the Tombstone Four members, have become those which I trust most. All of you present what is going on in an engaging and rigorous way. However, all of you do it with humor and verve. Please keep up the excellent work all of you do. God bless, and Mary wrap her loving and protective mantle around you!!

Ann,

I just love your taste in music! I’m almost exactly 5 years younger than you but I feel like we were the same age growing up with the same hits!
Have a happy birthday Ann! I really appreciate you.
God bless,

A
