Dear Ann,

I was at an Oktoberfest yesterday and one of the young priests from the parish was seated at our family’s table. Someone mentioned “Leo” and I said, “Sure I’ll pray for him… But you know this is totally a turbo cancer from the vax.” To this, Father replied, “Sounds like someone’s been reading Barnhardt.” I paused, laughed, and said, “Every day.” He replied with, “I knew where you were going with that because Fr. X (another priest in the parish) reads her every day too and shares what’s he read with the rest of us.”

I thought you’d find that amusing as I did.
