So if you remember, not terribly long ago I posted a plug for the “Trad Catholic Drudge” website, Pewsitter.com . Well, just a few days later, the then-editor of Pewsitter, a gent named Frank Walker, sent me an email telling me that the owner of Pewsitter had fired him for linking to me and other “incendiary” bloggers. Since then, Pewsitter, now being edited by someone else, has become really lame and basically a pro-Trump American politics-driven site, and just terribly watered-down in general. And as you all remember well, my position on American politics is that it is on exactly the same level as professional wrestling.
BUT, the good news is, Frank Walker and his hilarious exclamation point-question mark combos are BACK with his own site:
So bookmark Canon212.com, and be sure to visit daily for the best collection of links, updated daily, anywhere on the web. Anything of any importance and/or intelligence, Frank Walker finds and links. The man is a spectacular and tireless editor/aggregator.
Oh, and in case you’re wondering, Canon 212 states:
Can. 212 §1. Conscious of their own responsibility, the Christian faithful are bound to follow with Christian obedience those things which the sacred pastors, inasmuch as they represent Christ, declare as teachers of the faith or establish as rulers of the Church.
§2. The Christian faithful are free to make known to the pastors of the Church their needs, especially spiritual ones, and their desires.
§3. According to the knowledge, competence, and prestige which they possess, they have the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful, without prejudice to the integrity of faith and morals, with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons.
