Download MP3 File

In this Episode, Dr. Mazza and NonVeni Mark join Art and Ann to tackle the dark events of the previous week, from the Sodo-Trans open declaration of war in Rome last Saturday with the blessing and cooperation of Antipope Robert “FtR” Prevost, to the Charlie Kirk assassination, and how these events are clearly related.

I hope he sends someone in the night before to exorcise the joint. No joke.

UPDATED: BarnhardtMemes.com a victim of its own success, traffic has outgrown the server.

UPDATE: The attack on the BarnhardtMemes.com site is pretty severe, but it is recognized. The site will probably be down for a couple of days as countermeasures are taken.

Supernerd is on it and the site will be restored shortly.

In the mean time, please enjoy this 1970s department store muzak. If you were there, you know.

That awkward interstitial period wherein we wait to see if the Central Mossad Intelligence Agency sent a pro (whom they extracted and will never be caught) or if they found another sodo-tranny pervert patsy who could actually shoot.

This has the decided savor of an Archduke Franz Ferdinand operation. Brace.

We commend Mr. Kirk’s soul to Our Lord, the just and merciful judge of all men. As Fr. Z has pointed out, Mr. Kirk did not hate the Blessed Virgin as so many Protestants do. In fact, he recognized her as the antidote to feminism.

Charlie Kirk is Catholic now, as is every human being who has been through their particular judgement, that is, has died. Let’s pray for his soul, despite the horror of his death outside the Catholic Church, without the sacraments, and with almost no time, mere milliseconds probably, to make any sort of act of contrition as his carotid artery was blown.

If you’re not in the Catholic Church, get about it. Briskly. If you’re already in, go to Confession, whether it has been seven days or seven decades.

War is coming, if not already upon us.

Our Lady, Ever Virgin, Queen of Heaven and Earth, pray for us.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.

Mailbag: Becket and Burke

Ann-

Having recently seen the awesome movie “Becket” about the saintly and manly archbishop of Canterbury, there was this scene at the 1:56:12 mark:

“Lord, what do You really want me to do? To remain here, a poor monk in simplicity of spirit? Is it a path to bring me nearer to You? Or is it too easy a way; perhaps even a luxury? The path to holiness in this monastery is too effortless. I think it would be too easy to buy You like this…bargain price. It has pleased You to make me archbishop and to set me like a solitary pawn face to face with the king on the chessboard. I think You mean me to defend Your honor, peacefully if I can; with argument and with compromise. And if I cannot, then with the full challenge of my office and the soaring force of what I know to be right. So…I shall take up the miter again and the golden cope and the great silver cross, and I shall go back and fight with the weapons it has pleased You to give me. All the rest…Thy will be done.”

And this got me thinking “What if Thomas Becket remained in humble exile living simply as a monk in order to avoid the stressful duties of high ecclesial office in defense of holy mother Church?” Apart from avoiding (missing out on?) martyrdom and a one way ticket to Heaven, it struck me as a similar situation to Cardinal Burke dodging the bullet of persecution for being confrontational, instead contentedly and humbly resigning himself to the care of a shrine in Wisconsin.

Just thought it was an interesting comparison and I wanted to share wtih you!

Happy, Happy Birthday, Blessed Virgin Mary!

Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, Giotto, Scrovegni Chapel, Padua, ARSH 1305 Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, Giotto, Scrovegni Chapel, Padua, ARSH 1305

This is the explanatory preamble from my missal for today’s feast, the Nativity (birth) of the Blessed Virgin Mary (nine months to the day after the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, naturally).  I thought it quite beautiful and timely, for those of us feeling the weight of the darkness of these days:

At the time of Mary’s birth the whole world was plunged in darkness.  The heathen nations were steeped in vice and pride.  The Jews, beloved of God, had strayed from Him.  Everywhere there was sin and gloom, no bright spot on the face of the earth.  But when Mary was born a light arose amidst the darkness:  the dawn of the glorious day that was to usher in the Redeemer.

Remember, The Blessed Virgin was born with the egg that would be fertilized by the Holy Ghost and thus incarnate Our Lord already in her ovary, fully-formed with half of Our Lord’s DNA, just waiting.  Who knows what foundations and groundworks He has laid on the earth and in our lives, already extant or partially so, just waiting to be completed and realized in the fullness of time according to His will?
