Big fan! In honor of PriDEMONth and the interminable Synod on Synodality (but I repeat myself), I’ve done what any good Catholic would do – I’ve written a show tune! It’s called “Synodomy,” a word which occurred to me, made me giggle (still does), and struck me as far more phonetically reflective of what the “synod” is actually all about than the awkward and stupid “synodality.”

The snappier/creepier “Synodomy” also lends itself well to various delightful variations such as: “synodomize,” “synodomite,” “synodomitical,” … the possibilities are endless!

I wrote the lyrics and then couldn’t resist using Satan’s AI/SUNO to “produce” the song. I have to say, I think Satan’s AI knocked it out of the park! I hope you agree.

If you’re still reading, I invite you and give you full legal license to share this song with your audience and adopt the “Synodomy” lexicon described above as your own in your future reportage and commentary. I have no platform, don’t want one, and would be unemployed and imprisoned if I did. For this reason, I also require no personal credit should you share the song and/or language. I hope you don’t think me a coward. I just don’t know that this particular hill is the one upon which I wish to be martyred. There will be others 😃.
