There are actually THREE “Barnhardt Axioms”. The first is:
“If you can’t stand in front of it and defend it with a rifle, then you don’t really own it, and never did.”
(cough, 401k accounts that your employer won’t let you touch, cough…)
The second, which is referenced below is:
“The culture has degraded such that seeking and/or holding office, especially national-level office, is, in and of itself, proof that a given person is psychologically and morally unfit to hold public office.”
The third is:
“If full-on kinetic World War 3 breaks out, the worst possible outcome for humanity would be that the former-US/Washington DC-Tel Aviv Cult regime win.”
A reader writes in to the [email protected] mailbox:
Hello guys,
I hope you all are well. I came across an early version of the Barnhardt Axiom by one J. R. R. Tolkien. I’ll attach a screenshot at the end. The book is from Jonathan Witt and J. W. Richards called “The Hobbit Party”.
Thank you and God be with you.

Here is the Tolkien quote:
“The most improper job of any man, even saints, is bossing other men. Not one in a million is fit for it, and least of all those who seek the opportunity.”
