“They that explain me shall have life everlasting.” Confirmed by the Antipope and Antichurch: the Blessed Virgin Mary absolutely IS the Co-Redemptrix, and should be referred to as such at every opportunity. Pre-reading assignment.

Pre-reading assignment for the forthcoming essay on why the Blessed Virgin Mary ABSOLUTELY IS THE CO-REDEMPTRIX, and should be referred to as such at every possible opportunity henceforth.

I can’t tell you how delighted I was to see that Antipope Robert “FtR” Prevost and that odious groomer faggot Tucho “Heal Me With Your Mouth Open” Fagnandez have decided to fight their Luciferian fag war against the Mother of God. This is going to be FANTASTIC. Talk about a “teaching moment.” My goodness, it’s all laid out in scripture. This is the Lesson of the Mass of many Marian feasts and votive Masses. It’s Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) chapter 24. Read up, Protestants. Ya Boi Luther tore this book out of the Bible because it smashes his foul heresies.

Remember, these words were written nearly 200 years before Our Lord’s Incarnation, obviously a prophecy of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Co-redemptrix, Mediatrix of All Graces, and Queen of Heaven and Earth. Look especially at verse 31. The Holy Ghost is talkin’. Who’s listenin’?

And by my power I have trodden under my feet the hearts of all the high and low: and in all these I sought rest, and I shall abide in the inheritance of the Lord.  12 Then the creator of all things commanded, and said to me: and he that made me, rested in my tabernacle,  13 And he said to me: Let thy dwelling be in Jacob, and thy inheritance in Israel, and take root in my elect.  14 From the beginning, and before the world, was I created, and unto the world to come I shall not cease to be, and in the holy dwelling place I have ministered before him.  15 And so was I established in Sion, and in the holy city likewise I rested, and my power was in Jerusalem.

16 And I took root in an honourable people, and in the portion of my God his inheritance, and my abode is in the full assembly of saints.  17 I was exalted like a cedar in Libanus, and as a cypress tree on mount Sion.  18 I was exalted like a palm tree in Cades, and as a rose plant in Jericho:  19 As a fair olive tree in the plains, and as a plane tree by the water in the streets, was I exalted.  20 I gave a sweet smell like cinnamon. and aromatical balm: I yielded a sweet odour like the best myrrh:

21 And I perfumed my dwelling as storax, and galbanum, and onyx, and aloes, and as the frankincense not cut, and my odour is as the purest balm.  22 I have stretched out my branches as the turpentine tree, and my branches are of honour and grace.  23 As the vine I have brought forth a pleasant odour: and my flowers are the fruit of honour and riches.  24 I am the mother of fair love, and of fear, and of knowledge, and of holy hope.  25 In me is all grace of the way and of the truth, in me is all hope of life and of virtue.

26 Come over to me, all ye that desire me, and be filled with my fruits.  27 For my spirit is sweet above honey, and my inheritance above honey and the honeycomb.  28 My memory is unto everlasting generations.  29 They that eat me, shall yet hunger: and they that drink me, shall yet thirst.  30 He that hearkeneth to me, shall not be confounded: and they that work by me, shall not sin.

31 They that explain me shall have life everlasting.

Deprivation, Delay, Pain and Joy

“The more one longs for a thing, the more painful does deprivation of it become. And because after this life, the desire for God, the Supreme Good, is intense in the souls of the just (because this impetus toward Him is not hampered by the weight of the body, and that time of enjoyment of the Perfect Good would have come) had there been no obstacle; the soul suffers enormously from the delay.”
—St. Thomas Aquinas

I do not think that apart from the felicity of Heaven, there can be a joy comparable to that experienced by the souls in Purgatory. An incessant communication from God renders their joy more vivid from day to day: and this communication becomes more and more intimate, to the extent that it consumes the obstacles still existing in the soul….On the other hand, they endure pain so intense, that no tongue is able to describe it. Nor is any mind capable of comprehending the smallest spark of that consuming fire, unless God should show it to him by a special grace.
— Saint Catherine of Siena

Hostias et preces tibi, Domine, laudis offerimus.
Tu suscipe pro animabus illis, quarum hodie
memoriam facimus,
fac eas, Domine,
de morte transire ad vitam quam olim Abrahae promisisti et semini ejus.

We offer Thee, O Lord,
sacrifices and prayers of praise;
do Thou accept them for those souls
whom we this day commemorate;
grant them, O Lord,
to pass from death to the life which Thou once didst promise
to Abraham and his seed.

Second half of the Offertory of the Requiem Mass

A word of gratitude as the octave of my birthday wraps up.

Thanks to one and all for the lovely birthday wishes over the past week. It was a wonderful birthday, complete with a party with 53 attendees!! Amazing! Your notes, including many from converts, reverts and Tradverts (new noun, along with the new verb, “to Trad”), are truly edifying and inspiring. I can’t wait to see what Lap #50 around the determiner of weather 🌞 brings.

Here’s a perennial favorite, apropos of the occasion: Patsy Cline’s “Life’s Railway to Heaven.”

Life is like a mountain railroad
With an Engineer that’s brave
We must make the run successful
From the cradle to the grave

Watch the curves, the fills, and tunnels
Never falter, never fail
Keep your hand upon the throttle
And your eyes upon the rail

Blessed Savior, Thou wilt guide us
Till we reach that blissful shore
Where the angels wait to join us
In that great forevermore.

Feast of All Saints: I, John Saw a Mighty Number…

Today’s Epistle Reading is from Revelation 7 describing his vision of the Church Triumphant:

Apoc 7:2-12
In those days, behold, I John, saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, who had it in their power to harm the earth and the sea, saying, Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. And I heard the number of those who were sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand sealed, out of every tribe of the children of Israel; of the tribe of Juda, twelve thousand sealed; of the tribe of Ruben, twelve thousand; of the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand; of the tribe of Aser, twelve thousand; of the tribe of Nephthali, twelve thousand; of the tribe of Manasses, twelve thousand; of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand; of the tribe of Zabulon, twelve thousand; of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand; of the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand sealed. After this I saw a great multitude which no man could number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and with palms in their hands. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation belongs to our God Who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb. And all the angels were standing round about the throne, and the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshipped God, saying, Amen. Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength to our God forever and ever. Amen.

Which always makes me think of Elvis’ version of “I, John.” Fun fact: the lead bass singer on this track is a very young Richard Sterban who went on to fame with the Oak Ridge Boys.
