#TOLDYA On Goldman

I tweeted this the other day, but it needs to be pounded and driven so as many people as possible know and understand it.

“I Am Putting Everything In Goldman Sachs Because These Guys Can Do Whatever The Hell They Want.”

That title comes from a tweet by Eric Hunsaker of Nanex.  It is morally incorrect, obviously, but it rhetorically drives home the point.

I was encouraged yesterday by a person whom I did not expect to be following such news asking me if I had heard about “those Goldman Sachs tapes”.  It was a sweet moment.  “Yes,” I said.  “Yes, I heard about that.”  It is critical that as many people as possible have at least a cursory understanding of these things, because most of the people who are talking about them today, or are able to provide any level of education or leadership with regards to these concepts and issues, will not survive the war.  So, the “hedge” against the attempted purging is to get as much of the information out into the broad populace as possible, as early as possible.  I have a friend who is literally the most knowledgable person alive – the global authority – on a very specific and desperately critical area of expertise, which is rapidly being forgotten and purged from civilization.  If he were to be hit by a drunk driver, or if his pancreas was to explode into cancer, I shudder to think at the loss to civilization that would result (after I shudder to think of not seeing him again personally in this world, of course).  Thankfully, we have today the ability to record and disseminate information and thus “hedge” against data loss like never before – in fact, we can even record data in the audio and video formats, which adds a level of comprehension and nuance to datasets that has never been possible before.  We have the equivalent ability of hearing Shakespeare read and INFLECT his own lines.  In terms, especially, of objective datasets, we really do have an obligation to get data laid down, copied and spread, so that apres la guerre those remaining will have the tools they need to get about the business of rebuilding – and rebuilding on a solid foundation.  There is no reason whatsoever that a calamity analogous to the burning of the Library at Alexandria should happen now.  None.  If it happens, it will be because we, in our sloth, shortsightedness and callous indifference to those who will come after us on the timeline, allowed it to happen.

The Enemy’s malice is four dimensional, every bit as intent on raping, pillaging and destroying the souls of people who have not yet been born as those of us alive today.  Our charity, likewise, MUST exist in four dimensions, every bit as fervent for souls with whom we will never share this mortal coil, separated by rivers, seas and oceans of time.

So, here is where I explained in Part 7 of my Economic Presentation from November of ARSH 2012 what has now been proven by Carmen Segarra’s tapes.  I *think* the video should start playing at the right spot (5:16).  I’ll even transcript it for you:

And you say, “No.  How is that possible?  How can that be?  How can Goldman Sachs be running at 545 times leverage relative to its assets?”  And the answer is, because Goldman Sachs and the United States government are, for all intents and purposes, the SAME. FISCAL. ENTITY.  And if anybody has any explanation other than that, I would love to hear it.  And again, I would just encourage you to look at the people who are populating the United States government, the bureaucracy, the federal reserve banks.  And look at their CVs.  Where did these people come from?  They came from Goldman.  ‘Kay?  Again, I don’t like the whole conspiracy theory worldview, but sometimes it’s real.  And when it is real, you have to be brave enough to face it.  That’s it.

More Notes on Shame: John the Baptist, Salome and Mrs. Beryl Muspratt

1.  Thank you for all of the feedback on the “We should be ashamed” piece from last month.  I was especially touched by the “I went to confession for the first time in X years” emails.  Now, please don’t wait another X years to go back, okay?  🙂

2.  There are a few more points on the subject of shame that I would like to expand upon.  The first comes from the novel “Brideshead Revisited”, which demonstrates, completely contrary to the Modernist, post-Christian, “church of Nice” heresy, how shame is a medicinal mercy.  If we can self-generate shame without having to have it applied from the exterior, then so much the better.  But for many people, the shaming must be generated, at least initially, externally.  This is a function of charity – true charity, not the mindless platitude consisting of indifference yielding permissiveness, or in giving people “free stuff”, or just simply “what makes them happy”.  No, true charity is joy in the existence of another and thus a focused desire that that person make it to heaven.  Full stop.

If you are not familiar with Brideshead Revisited, the context is easily explained.  Set between the World Wars in England, Julia is civilly divorced from Rex, and is shacking up with Charles, who is also civilly divorced.  Charles and Julia make a real cute couple and “love” each other (inasmuch as people who express their “love” for one another do so by knowingly flagellating and crucifying Christ in exchange for having an orgasm, can actually be said to love one another in any honest sense of the word.)

[Bridey has just announced his engagement to Beryl Muspratt, a widow with three children. Julia asks why he hasn’t brought Beryl to Brideshead to meet her]

Lord Brideshead ‘Bridey’: [pompously] You must understand that Beryl is a woman of strict Catholic principle, fortified by the prejudices of the middle classes. I couldn’t *possibly* bring her here. It is a matter of indifference whether you choose to live in sin with Rex or Charles or both – I have always avoided enquiry into the details of your ménage – but in no case would Beryl consent to be your guest.
Julia Mottram: Why, you pompous ass!
[Julia walks out of the room, holding back tears]
Charles Ryder: Bridey! What a bloody offensive thing to say to Julia.
Lord Brideshead ‘Bridey’: [coldly] It was nothing she should object to. I was merely stating a fact well known to her.

Long story short, Julia eventually breaks off her affair with Charles and lives at home, alone for the rest of her life, reconciled to Our Lord through His Holy Church, namely through the Sacrament of Confession.

Beryl Muspratt, painted by all of the protagonists as a villain, ugly, frumpy, judgmental, and emblematic of “everything wrong with the Church”, even though she is never directly seen in the novel, only discussed and quoted a few times by others, is the most heroic figure in the novel.  She is reported as always being kind to Julia, but unwavering in her defense of the Truth, in this case the Truth about marriage and the Sixth Commandment.  Thus, she could never consent to being a guest in the home of a woman – even her own sister-in-law – whom she knows to be Living in Sin, because to do so would ratify the sin itself, ratify the torture and murder of God Himself, and also REDUCE the likelihood that Julia (and Charles) would repent, correct their situation, and die confessed and in a state of grace, be that five minutes hence, or five decades.  Beryl cannot coerce Julia or anyone else to love God, but she can and rightly does apply medicinal shame to Julia in the hopes that the pain of that shame might lead Julia to stop torturing and killing Christ, and thus utterly rejecting His Love in favor of having orgasms with a cute guy, and in so doing, damning herself to hell.

It is precisely because Julia was made to feel PROFOUNDLY ASHAMED by Beryl refusing to enter her home that Julia set out on the road to repentance.  If Beryl had been a typical Novus Ordo “church of Nice” Kathy-zombie of today and sought to “encounter” Julia with the “tender caresses” of FAUX MERCY, manifested by indifference to Julia and her mortally sinful lifestyle, Julia would have been EDIFIED IN HER SIN, and thus would not have repented and corrected.  And neither would Charles – both would have been lost to hell, in all likelihood.  Interestingly, Bridey, the older brother, is revealed by his own words as being “indifferent”, and thus it is BRIDEY, with his lack of charity for the soul of his own sister, that is the most villainous character in this particular scene.  But even then, he concludes by stating that Julia has no right to object to the statement of facts which she already knows – namely the Sixth Commandment and Our Lord’s words in Matthew 19.  The only thing Julia has a right to object to or be hurt by is Bridey, her own brother, declaring that he is “indifferent” to her sin, and thus to the fate of his own sister’s soul, not to mention Charles’ soul.  That’s it.  And Beryl Muspratt is indeed the heroine of the novel.

3.  This came to mind because a longtime reader has an adult child who is ensnared in the sins of Sodom.  A Mass was said for the adult child, their liberation from the hold of the devil, and the salvation of their soul last week.  The adult child, along with the rest of the world, is trying to pressure the parents to ratify their sodomite activities and relationships in the name of “love” and “not judging”.  The parents, to their eternal credit, are holding fast to the Truth, constantly reminding the child of their love, and thus refusing to accept or ratify the sin, or to receive into their home or socialize with the sodomite partner.  The pressure on the parents, as you can imagine, is enormous.  From every corner in this post-Christian world they are hearing the lie that love is indifference and mercy is permissiveness.  In your charity, please pray for all concerned.

4.  Which segues into a topic, which I think merits its own essay, now that I think about it, but I will mention the concept here so you can start thinking about it.  In this post-Christian culture, the only perversion, the only “lifestyle” which is painted as shameful and harmful, is chastity.  You’re a virgin?  There’s something wrong with you.  You should be ashamed of yourself.  You have no sexual outlet?  You know, not having sex makes you crazy.  You’d be much better off and would “calm right down” if you just went out and got laid.  Good and hard.  Or at the very least “took care of yourself”.

5.  Also, I want to point out again that evil is never satisfied with mere toleration.  Evil demands first toleration, then ratification, then celebration, then co-participation.  That’s the progression.  With regards to abortion, aka murdering babies, we are now at co-participation through the Obamacare mandate.  You WILL pay for and thus co-participate in contraception, sterilization and abortion, or else you will be destroyed and your ability to live and work in the Iniquitous Gutter Republic will be destroyed by the IRS, and eventually you may be imprisoned in the name of “tax evasion”.

I saw a really interesting comment the other day – if the FEDGOV’s agenda was as benign as the deluded among us desperately want it to be, namely merely making contraception available and incredibly cheap, all they would have to do is make the pill an over-the-counter product.  This point, putting aside for a moment the fact that contraception is mortal sin and all of the health risks that go along with the pill, is extremely insightful and true.  These people in the satanic oligarchy now administering the FEDGOV, who are a collective forerunner antichrist, are keeping the pill tied to insurance coverage precisely so that through the Obamacare (or any nationalized healthcare delivery scheme) mechanism, tied to the IRS as the enforcement arm, they can FORCE CO-PARTICIPATION IN MORTAL SIN.  It is the only way to coerce, for example, a chaste 45 year old single man to directly participate in contraception and abortion.  Tie it to his taxes.

6.  And on the spiritual side, and circling back to shamelessness, here is a charming story from LifeSiteNews about a woman who released a video wherein she proclaims, over and over again, that she is NOT ASHAMED of murdering her baby.

“I am not ashamed. I am not ashamed. I’m so sick of keeping these words contained. I am not ashamed.”

Make no mistake, so long as she is genuinely not ashamed of one of the most heinous sins a human being can commit, Christ’s Infinite Mercy is not available to her.  He can’t forgive you if you aren’t sorry.

7.  Finally, here is a very powerful image of Salome with the severed head of John the Baptist.  It was technically Salome’s mother, Herodias, who was condemned by John for her illicit marriage and thus agitated her daughter to request John’s execution, but the symbolism of the shameless, sinful woman smugly looking down at John’s head is the point.  Note the rehearsed air of power, the heavily practiced pose of defiance and victory, her features hard and joyless.  Now look at The Baptist’s face.  Even in death, his face is soft and quick, still emoting a genuine CHARITY.  He almost looks to be making eye contact with the woman, still trying to convince her to repent.  Now look back at the woman.  Look now at how weak and shallow and PATHETIC she is compared to him, essentially naked, save her gaudy headdress and jewelry; as transparent and superficial as her gauze girdle.  She fancies herself a queen, but she’s just a sad gutter denizen, wallowing and relishing in her own sin.

This image is a profound allegory of our post-Modern, post-Christian, feminist culture.

St. John the Baptist, pray for us.

September Benefactor Mass Set & Assorted Variety (or is that "A Sordid Variety"?)

1.  This month’s Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered for all of my benefactors and supporters will be on Thursday the 25th at approximately 12:30pm EDT.  Remember, once you’re on the list, you can never, ever get off of it, even if you decide that you hate me.  Tricksey, she is, Precious.

Deepest, unceasing thanks to one and all.

2.  Just a quick note on the upcoming Synod on the Family called by Pope Francis Bergoglio in October.  Let me explain how it is going to play out.  The Synod will convene, only the Modernists will be allowed to say anything, the Synod will publish something that goes on and on and says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, then the Pope will issue a “Post-Synodal Exhortation” which will also go on and on and say ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (but will use to nauseating excess the words “caress”, “tenderness” and “encounter”), and then the green light will be given to every Modernist and unwitting Modernist priest (which is most of them today – let’s be honest) to tell people that divorce and remarriage is no big deal and BY ALL MEANS you should receive Holy Communion.  And if you thought that annulment was merely “Catholic divorce” before, just you wait.  Annulments will be passed out at “A KENNEDY WANTS TO MARRY THE NANNY” SPEED.  Getting an annulment will be like ordering a Quarter Pounder with Cheese Value Meal at the drive-thru window.  They’ll have the annulment burgers and fries pre-made and sitting under the proverbial heat lamps.  Please pull through.

The reason this is all so easy to anticipate is because it has already happened since the Asteroid (™) hit in the 1960s.  In fact, it happened twice.  The first was with the promulgation of the New Mass, the Novus Ordo, in ARSH 1968.  Did you know that the Novus Ordo is supposed to be offered in Latin, with the priest facing God Almighty – NOT facing the people, and with Gregorian Chant?  Yup.  All of the abuses that you see today at almost every single Novus Ordo Mass are NOT specifically called for in any Vatican II documents.  They are all the result of a strategy of putting nothing down in writing, but instead operating like a Tin Pot Dictatorship and sending toadies to communicate that “anything goes, boys”, and anyone who doesn’t go along with or dares to speak out against the “new program” will be destroyed.  This is how the Novus Ordo Mass implementation was executed.  And, you know, it worked so darn well, why WOULDN’T they use the same strategy?

The other arena in which this was used to great “success” was in regards to contraception.  Paul VI Montini wrote Humanae Vitae, which condemned contraception in no uncertain terms, and then openly supported clerics who flagrantly disobeyed it, and even more egregiously, actively punished clerics and prelates who defended Humanae Vitae and called out their disobedient brother bishops and priests.

Yes.  You read that right.  Paul VI PUNISHED bishops and priests who defended his own encyclical.

And, as a result, to which my inbox provides a steady stream of testimony, YOU GUYS, now in the autumns and winters of your lives, thwarted the existence of your own children that God desperately wanted to give you, because your priest TOLD YOU THE DIRTY SATANIC LIE AT THE BEHEST AND UNDER THE THREAT OF HIS SUPERIORS that contraception wasn’t a sin, and it was okay for you to sterilize yourselves and reduce the marital embrace to an act of masturbation.  Wink, wink.  Nudge, nudge.  And this tactic was wildly successful.

So shall it be with this Synod.  I would also assume that the blind eye of sanction will be turned to all manner of sodomy ratification, including the “blessing of unions” or some hellish abomination like that.  But NOTHING will ever be put in writing.  Only meaningless, Jesuitical, Modernist, drooling, utterly incoherent gobbledygook nonsense which the pseudo-intellectual neoconservative fanboys and fangirls will lap up like hogs at the slop trough, so pathetically needy and desperate to appear smart and be popular, that they will join in the hen cluck chorus of “oohs” and “aaaaahs” at nod knowingly at all of the big wurdz and run-on sentences.  (If I don’t understand what it says, it MUST be true!  But I’ll pretend that I do understand it so they think I’m teh smart and like me!)

Yeah.  I’ve got your dialogic encounter with the tender caresses of luuuuurv right here, you charlatans.

3.  While I will never abandon my trademarked term “Superfun Rockband church (™)”, I recently had “Six Flags Over Jehovahgod” put in front of me, and I snickered quite vigorously.

4.  Apparently I have started a bit of a Lennon Sisters frenzy.  Several people reported marathon YouTube sessions watching Lennon Sisters clips.  Here is something that I came across that delights me to no end.  One of my favorite songs is “Malaguena Salerosa”, which is a Mexican folk song.  I first heard it years ago in the movie soundtrack for Kill Bill 2.  Now, I’ll be the first to proclaim that Tarantino is one seriously messed-up cat, but the guy has spectacular musical tastes.  So, first is Malaguena Salerosa performed by Kathy Lennon, followed by the Chingon version off the Kill Bill 2 soundtrack, which I warn you, rocks just ever-so-slightly hard.  I love contrasts like these.

Many, many a mile I have driven with Chingon’s Malaguena Salerosa BLASTING in order to stay awake and outrun the PoPo as I crossed the fruited plains of North ‘Merica, hither and yon,  throttle mashed, injector nozzles gloriously a-spray, so as to “let ‘er drink”.  Lyrics beneath.  Enjoy.

This is so sweet I can barely stand it.  Look at the eyes.  Sigh.
I hereby declare Guido Reni my favorite.  I’m sure he’s thrilled.

Jager

Today is the Feast of Saint Eustace.  The little preamble in my Missal says the following:

“Eustace was commander-in-chief of the army of the Emperor Trajan.  Having refused to thank the gods for a triumph, he was burned to death with his wife and children after undergoing many cruel tortures in (ARSH) 120.”

Eustace was, of course, a convert to Christianity, and it is said that he converted while hunting a stag and having a miraculous vision of a crucifix in the stag’s antlers.  If you look at the bottle of Jagermeister above, you can see the stag with the Cross in its antlers.  The Jagermeisters were the head foresters and gamekeepers in Germany, and St. Eustace is naturally the patron saint of hunters, along with anyone facing adversity, as he suffered Job-like trials in the years between his conversion and martyrdom.

St. Eustace, pray for us!

PS:  I personally don’t like Jagermeister at all, and don’t drink it, so y’all can have my allotment.  🙂

Octet

1.  Just so you know, World War 3 will be completely unlike the two previous World Wars, so don’t expect it to happen like that, because it can’t.  Europe, for all intents and purposes, has no standing armies, nor could it muster men, even with conscription.  The post-Christian, post-modern man will not fight to defend himself.  He is psychologically emasculated and saturated with self-loathing.  Further, war will never be formally declared.  You will not see the U.K. (whatever is left of it), France, Germany or the U.S. declare war on anyone, ever.  That’s all over.  For the U.S., that ended with World War 2.  You all know that the U.S. never declared war in Korea, Vietnam, or anywhere else since World War 2, right?  Additionally, while World War 3 grinds its way forward through time, and as millions upon millions die, the media will continually state that THERE IS NO WAR, and anyone who says that there is a war is just a loon.  And the people will nod their heads, and the body count will rise, but it won’t be WAR you understand, because everything’s fine.  Kinda like how there’s no inflation.  It will be like that.   And the body count will far, far surpass the 70 million of World War 2, perhaps by more than an order of magnitude.

2.  I know a lot of you out there are big Sarah Palin fans.  Heck, I was excited about her when she first came to prominence in ARSH 2008.  But, um, we need to let that whole thing go.  She’s not serious, and in fact, the whole family is now degenerating into full-blown snowbilly farce.  Drunken fights … as a family?  I can understand maybe one of the older kids going out and getting drunk and acting stupid, but when your family evening activity is going out and picking fights AS A FAMILY UNIT, um, no.  You’re done.  Thanks.  I have been talking about this for years, but Sarah Palin is in no way qualified to lead western civilization out of the enormous and complex mess that it is in.  Do you honestly think Sarah Palin can lead militarily a war against the Caliphate-Sino-Russian-New World Order Axis?  Because any genuine leader that is going to emerge is going to have to prosecute that war.  Do you think Sarah Palin has any grasp of economic, financial or banking theory?  Because any genuine leader that is going to emerge is going to have to manage not just the collapse and fallout of the extant economic and financial paradigm, but also begin the rebuilding process, ensuring that the same mistakes are not allowed to recur.  Do you think Sarah Palin is in any way qualified to provide serious moral leadership?  Look, whether you all want to face this or not, there is some extremely unpleasant business that is going to have to be taken care of in order for there to be any hope for rebuilding after the war.  The baby slaughtering is going to have to stop.  The sodomitical and other sexually perverted culture and behaviors are going to have to be clamped down on severely and contained.  The white collar and political crimes and criminals are going to have to be likewise gone after with a tireless ferocity, and as a corollary to that, some people are going to have to be executed.  Administering justice is a huge, grave responsibility that requires tremendous wisdom and moral rectitude.  That is why judges used to be so respected, because only the best men in a society were worthy of or qualified for such an important role – because they hold other men’s lives in their hands.  Sarah Palin?  Who couldn’t parlay her political fame into mainstream media engagements fast enough?  Really?  No.  I certainly wish her and her family well, but, come on.

3.  Are you noticing how the media is conditioning us, and we are being desensitized to the beheadings?  Foley was top headline news for an entire 36 hour news cycle.  Sotloff lasted 6-8 hours.  Do you even know the name of the third?  It’s Haines.  David Haines.  And there is another on deck.  And you know what?  Nobody really cares.  ‘Cause, you know, beheadings happen, and there’s nothing we can do about it, so there’s no sense getting all worked up about it.  Hey!  Football!

4.  Really good stuff, and yet another manifestation of the whole “get past the 36 hour news cycle and you’re as safe as a kitten” dynamic – remember Jill Kelley, the creepy skanky lady who ended up getting both Gen. Petraeus and Gen. John Allen in hot water sufficient to bring about both of their resignations?  Well, Allen has just been appointed by the Obama regime as some sort of civilian commander of the fake ISIS operation.  Read up both HERE at Conservative Treehouse, and then definitely HERE for Debbie Schlussel’s piece on “Jill Kelley”, real name Gilberte Khawam of the Beirut Khawams from November ARSH 2012, and then don’t miss THIS PIECE from the Tampa Tribune reporting on Kelley being recruited by an Afghani MP as a lobbyist, a position which she happily took saying on the record, “”I am honored to resume my focus to promote cross-cultural dialogue and global trust for a peaceful and strategic exit to help our U.S. and Coalition forces transition out of Afghanistan.”  This woman is allegedly a doctor’s wife who loves to shop and throw dinner parties (for some reason) for flag officers at McDill AFB.  Riiiiight.  Youbetcha.  And Mata Hari was just a misunderstood Hindu dance enthusiast.

5.   I tweeted earlier KD’s article confirming and reiterating the warnings about SIPC brokerage account “insurance”.  I just want to re-emphasize something that I have been saying for years about these so-called insurance programs as stated by a commenter on the thread below the article:

“All of these guarantees are only good until the losses get too large…In a market-wide or world-wide negative event you will not be protected as the math will not allow it.”

Bingo.  Even if SIPC and FDIC weren’t completely crooked, this boils down to the objective reality of MATH, which nobody seems to understand.  Insurance, like the fire department, can cover only small, discrete risk events.  ONE bank fails.  ONE brokerage house or money market fund implodes.  ONE house catches on fire.  There is enough money in the risk pool, or enough manpower and water to handle ONE event.  If the whole CITY simultaneously goes up in flames, then the fire department serves absolutely no purpose because, constrained by reality, they cannot be everywhere at once with sufficient water to extinguish an entire city burning.  Likewise, no insurance provider of ANY STRIPE, public or private, can cover a systemic catastrophic risk event.  Because… MATH.  Because by definition the risk pool fund MUST be a fraction of the size of the total system.  How could an insurance provider within a given system be bigger than, or even equal in size to the system itself?  DUH!!!!!

I was sent a link to this great post titled “Demonic Expressions” – 5 expressions that attract demons.  They are:
1.  G – D it.
2.  Drop dead.
3.  I swear to God.
4.  Hocus pocus
5.  Kiss my ***.

I knew about Hocus pocus, which is the mocking the words of consecration of the Eucharist, Hoc est enim Corpus meum.  As in, ah, that’s all just a bunch of hocus pocus.  You can see why the demons come running.

I had no idea about #5 being from the satanic black mass.

In number two, I was especially struck by the line, “To actually feel delight in someone else’s pain is a ‘character trait’ of demons.”

With regards to the first, I would add ALL taking of Our Lord’s Name in vain.  It is strange, but thinking back as a child, I had a family member who used our Lord’s Name constantly as an expression of disgust and contempt, and delivered it with extreme hyper-enunciated gusto.  And from the time that I was a teeny, tiny child with absolutely no real idea who Jesus Christ was, I knew that That Name was different and sacred, and that when That Name was said like that, that it was a very bad and scary thing, and that the person who said it was to be avoided.  If you want to get your head around what exactly it is that you’re doing when you use His Name as an expression of disgust, simply replace His Name with the name of the non-divine person you love most in the world.  Then imagine yourself calling out that person’s name as an expression of disgust.  A few weeks back, if you remember, I had a chunk of poop fall on my foot from a toilet brush when I was cleaning that trashed apartment.  Imagine poop falling on your foot and calling out the name of your most beloved person as an expression of disgust.  It’s depraved, right?  Well, your beloved person isn’t Perfect Good and Infinite Love who hung on a cross and died for your sins, now are they?  So how much sicker is it when we do it to God?  Yup.  There’s a reason why it is the Second Commandment.

7.  Here’s a fantastic interview with the delightful Dame Alice von Hildebrand.  It is 90 minutes, and the interviewer, Eric Metaxas, needs to cut the comedy routine – it is inappropriate given the stature of the interviewee AND given the fact that Dr. von Hildebrand is 91 years old and deaf, BUT, it is still a great watch.  It is titled “Man and Woman: A Divine Invention”.  Dame Alice LOATHES feminism and dismantles it thoroughly.  My favorite point of the myriad she makes is the fact that women are attracted to men they admire, and are not visually-centered in their attractions they way men are.  A sure sign of a profoundly morally feeble woman is one who is driven in her attractions by physicality.  Beware grown women who say things like, “Er mah gash, look at him, he’s so HAWT!”  Ew.  Just… ew.

8.  And now for something so wholesome, your head might explode.  I LOVE the early Lennon Sisters.  Yes, from the Lawrence Welk Show.  I ain’t ashamed.  They’re so beautifully wholesome.  And I love vocal harmony.  Cruise over to their Wikipedia entry and read up.  It would make a compelling movie.  This is what we have to return to someday.  We’re at Miley Cyrus now.  It’s gonna be a long, long walk.  So, might as well get started!  This is one of my favorite standards, “Harbor Lights”.

Billboards, Mailbag, and a Much-Needed Dose of Nat Cole

1.  Let’s revisit the interview I gave to the good folks over at IOwnTheWorld.com the day after my Koran Burning video went viral back in April of ARSH 2011.  IOTW has pruned their archives and it is no longer available there in full, but here is the AmericanDigest.org piece linking to it, with excerpts.  I’ll just post this one question and answer.  Remember, this is from three years ago.  #TOLDYA  Too bad the Constitutional Republic has been overthrown and the remaining putrifying carcass of the “three branches”, bureaucracy and military is fully infested by agents of the Caliphate.  Too late.  It’s gonna get ugly.

iOTW – Islam uses the constitution to their advantage. How do we do battle with islam without trampling the constitution?

AnnDeclare war against the Caliphate, just like we did against the Third Reich. Same bloody thing. And I’m not kidding.

2.  Let’s go back even further in the ol’ time machine to ARSH 2010, before I had gone uber-viral.  Old timers around here will remember that I bought two billboards on eastbound I-70 just outside Ft. Riley, Kansas on the eastern edge of Junction City, Kansas.  Several readers even pitched in cash donations so that they could have a piece of the action without making themselves IRS targets (um, yeah, #TOLDYA about the malicious auditing).  They were there until I went to live in “The Van Down By the River (™)” in the spring of ARSH 2013.

Obama Kansas Billboard Ann Barnhardt

The top one (Obama is a Fraud – Demand Resignation Now!) was first, and when the community college that had the billboard in the space below became *scandalized* by it, they demanded that their billboard be moved.  The manager of the company then offered me the right of first refusal on the space and I naturally jumped at it.  By that time enough had happened that I was ready to go to war.  Hence the “Wannabe Marxist Dictator” billboard.  Um, again: #TOLDYA.  Every time I would drive that stretch on business trips to Kansas I would roll down my window and let forth with a mighty war whoop.  Anyway, here is an interview that I gave to a very hostile commie rag out of Kansas City about the billboard.  I gotta say, the dude was fair and polite and reprinted everything I sent him, and even accepted a correction a sent him.   Here is an excerpt:

2. While I see and understand your point, after watching the Obama regime do what they have done with regards to spending and the truly unprecedented increases in debt (I concede that GWB engaged in the same, but on a minutely fractional scale), their blatant disregard for and manipulation of the Constitution and rule of law vis-a-vis the legislative process (passing the ObamaCare bill via reconciliation), and the inexplicable failure to respond to the oil spill (which could have easily been a huge public relations win with minimal effort), coupled with Obama’s past and current intimate associations with radical Marxist anti-Americans, I can not come to any reasonable conclusion other than the willful malicious intent of these destructive, lawless acts. Given this, I feel that it is my moral obligation to alert as many people as I possibly can to this so that whatever harm can still be averted is averted. Having said this, I truly hope that I am wrong and that 10 years from now you can laugh at me and call me “crazy”. That would be the BEST POSSIBLE outcome, and one that I pray for daily. But at this point, I am completely unconcerned about “offending” anyone or “making people feel uncomfortable”. Sometimes offense and discomfort are the only ways to get peoples’ attention. So be it.

3.  Here is a very kind email.  I get quite a lot of these.  I continue to be amazed at how many apologies I get, and also by the number of extremely hostile comments around the innerwebz about me that contain blunt concessions that what I have said is true, or that my logic cannot be argued – but that I am still a physically repellant nut.  (I can’t stand that ugly, shrill, holy-roller religious whack nutcase, but she’s right…) I never see such concessions made to any other pundit/commentator/screeching harpy.  It’s weird.  Anyway:

Hello Ann,

I hope this finds you well.

I have to admit, my exposure to you in the past has not been favorable. You just didn’t grab me. You struck me as out of place, pink gun and all. So, I shooed you out of the way.

But, I happened upon “Big, Fat Told-Ya-So” and was edified. So, I kept reading. Your piece on being ashamed kicked me around pretty good. I thought to read it to my wife…when I stop squirming a bit.

I’m adding you to my reading list. I now feel somewhat robbed for my previous prejudices towards you, but once I read your FAQs, the air cleared. I hope you don’t mind the previously ignorant and admittedly so entering the circle.

And I hope to remember to throw some lunch money your way. I’m glad to see another person “opt” out of this system and this world as we have…and to demonstrate how like Christ we can live depending solely on God and not on the trappings (read dole) of this world.

Take care and many blessings to you and yours.

4.  I saw this piece two weeks ago and, once again, I have been confirmed.  When I say that there is no hope in Washington D.C., I’m not just running my mouth.  Therefore, anyone, and I do mean ANYONE who is still engaging that system is either hopelessly stupid and deluded, or a con-artist.  It’s all kabuki theater, and these political campaigns and candidates are about one thing:  the money.  All campaigns are about is raising money from gullible people and then invoicing and cross-invoicing their buddies who set up sham companies under the guise of “campaign consulting”.  The Tea Party Express “raised” $9.5 million at a cost of $8 million (invoicing and cross invoicing “consultants”) and gave only $400k to campaigns.  This is all a function of the post-Christian, post-American sports culture mindset.  There is Team A and Team B and everyone is desperate to root, unconditionally, for “their team” so that they can belong to and be loyal to something.  Because, you know, belonging to and being loyal to OUR LORD AND HIS HOLY CHURCH is so passé in this glorious, enlightened, evolved, sophisticated modern culture.  Nature abhors a vacuum, y’all, and that’s what this culture is: a giant, sucking vacuum.  If you can’t see that the consultants are the ones who established the entity in the first place in order to bleed it dry after cravenly identifying a new political demographic cash-flow vein they could tap, then I just don’t know what more I or anyone else can say or do.

I beg you, remember the Barnhardt Axiom:

Seeking and/or holding office, especially national-level office, is, in and of itself, proof that a given person is psychologically and morally unfit to hold public office.

5.  And now something beautiful.  Nat Cole’s cover of “(I Love You) For Sentimental Reasons”.  Sigh.

Starting Saturday Off Right: Delicious, Scrumtrulescent Croissants Edition

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

So yesterday was the Feast of the Most Holy Name of Mary, which Pope Innocent XI made obligatory throughout the entire Western Church in ARSH 1684 as an act of Thanksgiving for the deliverance of Christian Europe from the musloid hordes at the Battle of Vienna the year before in ARSH 1683.  King John III Sobieski placed his army under the protection of the Mother of God and she delivered the victory.  In Vienna, a new pastry was invented to celebrate the great day.  This new pastry was made in the shape of the vanquished musloid half-moon crescent.  We now call this pastry by its French name: croissant.  Heh.  The Viennese, in a further delicious dig, also served their scrumtrulescent new pastry with the exotic new beverage: coffee – which came from the vanquished Turks.  Double heh.

Croissant and coffee:  truly the breakfast of champions.

Mary, Help of Christians, pray for us.

Evergreen Fury and Learning to Say Goodbye Every Day

I watch this, and it all comes right back.  Trembling, quaking rage.  Good.  It’s a consolation to know that I’m still human – at least a little.  Please, God, let me never become like the blunted, impotent wretches of western civilization, self-righteously indifferent to evil, desensitized, unable to sort reality from the flickershow.

Now that the Obama regime’s plans are coming to full, open fruition, and we can expect the Caliphate to begin launching major attacks in the West at any time, there is a lesson we should take from 911 dispatch tapes like that of Kevin Cosgrove.  If you find yourself in a situation wherein death is near, by all means, call 911 or anything that you know will be recorded – even if it is your own voicemail.  And then use that time and the fact that you are being recorded to talk to the people you love, and to pray.  Tell your family and friends how much you love them.  Tell your enemies that you forgive them.  Tell God that you are sorry for all of your sins not only because you don’t want to go to hell, BUT BECAUSE YOU LOVE HIM AND YOU KNOW THAT YOUR SINS OFFENDED HIM, WHO IS PERFECT GOOD AND INFINITE LOVE.

“The Grace of a Happy Death” that we pray for in the Fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary (Our Lady’s Assumption into Heaven), for some, might just be the consolation of dying knowing that we died with the Love of God and of Neighbor on our lips.  If it is recorded, so much the better.

And, it seems to me, that we should indeed “live like we are dying” in this sense.  Tell your loved ones that you love them.  Attempt to make an act of perfect contrition every day.  Acknowledge every day that it could all end tomorrow.  When I went on my pilgrimage to Rome back in ARSH 2012, on the last evening I sat for quite a while in the neighborhood church after Mass and tried to memorize and drink in as much as I could – the altarpiece, the architecture, the pews, the smell, the way the sound carried.  I did the same thing when I got back to my hotel – I went and sat on the terrace which overlooked St. Peter’s Basilica and just stared at it.   And while I was terribly sad to leave, I was consoled by the fact that I had “said my goodbye”.  I do this action of taking a last look and saying a silent goodbye – just in case – to places and people now quite a lot.  And while it may sound macabre to the decadent post-Christian, post-American ear, it is no such thing.  I reckon this might be a little bit of what is meant by the term “detachment”.  As you can see, in this sense, to be detached is the opposite of indifference or aloofness.  I can’t imagine how it could be bad to internally take leave of those we love as if it is for the last time, and then to greet them internally as if we never expected to see them again.  And then when and if the “real deal” happens, we will already know what to say and how to say it.

Rest in peace, Kevin Cosgrove and all the others.
